rods on the deep layer

i do a object with 3 layers and i want put two rods (one in front layer and another in the back layer) how i put the rod in the back layer, its alwais put in the frnt layer...2009-04-05 03:15:00

You have to make two or more objects glued together and connect each with a rod.2009-04-05 03:47:00

Make objects of one layer of thikness, put them in the layers you want and just put the pistons.2009-04-05 05:45:00

I've had the same trouble. whichever layer is lower (if attaching pistons from underneath) Will be the layer the game automatically selects. You can either add a tiny bit to the layer in the back that's lower than the front to get the piston to attach in the back OR you do the back layer first with the piston before you make the layer in the front. These are the only ways I've gotten it to work. Anyone else have a better way of doing it?2009-04-05 05:49:00

I will sometimes delete a square chunk out of the front section to make what's in the rear plane visible, then attach my piston/rod/whatever, then use the corner editor tool and delete the corners of the missing chunk in the front plane (that which I deleted earlier). Usually works like a charm.2009-04-05 14:28:00
