At the bank beside the cat pinata and the farting wrestler, how do you get in the bank to get the stuff out from inside? Or is that stuff just in there for show.

You enter the 2-player area by going down at the canyon before you get to the exploding buildings beside the bank. You push the pink candy thingy to bridge to that area. Then drag the bombs to the carts in that area. It can get complicated placing the bombs in those carts. Just refer to this video. YouTube - LBP - Boom Town x2 Tutorial

Actually, there is a way to do it by yourself (I beleive this works). Just push the explosives up top in front of the bank and step on the button. (If not, you can still do it by yourself, it just requires skill.)
