I hear ya - I'd love help with some of the more complex switches I'd like to put into levels. Maybe list your strengths and what you'd be looking for in a co-creator so people can figure out if it would be a good partnership.2009-03-30 01:50:00

As far as I know, online create won't be for a while, as it won't be in Cornish Yarg.2009-03-30 02:06:00

I dont know, i think its hard to trust people with what your going for in your level, especially if you dont have a mic.2009-03-30 02:47:00

I don't understand why people are so excited about online create...I've tried building levels offline with a friend who loves the game, and after 5 minutes we always end up switching the second controller off because it's too difficult to get anything done when both people are trying to create.

I mean for a start, you can't rewind whenever you want if you're the second player (which feels really limiting when you've gotten used to always relying on it). Plus it's always really difficult to zoom in or out to what you're working on (although maybe they will fix this in online create?).

I'm just really curious about whether or not those who are excited about online create ever tried creating with a second person before...and have you found it a good way to work?

I can't IMAGINE having someone else working in create mode at the same time I am. I think this is one of those features that everyone will ASK FOR but very few with USE.2009-03-30 15:05:00

Well, if it works "splitscreen" or at least give each player its own view,
it wouldnt be a problem.. lag/connection problems and accidental corruption could end up far worse when its online with multiple people.
what would happen if somebody suddenly loses its connection?

Yup.

Sounds really cool in the Media Molecule PRs and previews but practically speaking it's not a good feature really. Very few people will use it and most will realise this doesn't work most of the time. Just like people that were super excited about playing 4 players but when they've been in the game they realised it hard to play 4 players and you can't play anything serious or complex as everybody becomes the burden of the others.

Choose the category it fits into, and click there. Near the top of the page, just above the list of threads in that topic, there should be a button that says Post New Thread. I think you can guess from there...2009-05-31 22:45:00
