Indeed, those 3D possibilities are amazing :o, so many ideas I have for them XD.

I just wanna start out by saying that I have very low hope for me getting into the beta, but there has already been lots of begging so I won't go there. Firstly, the Little Big Planet series has probably been the most important and loved game of mine since 2009 and still is. I have every game except LBP PSP and Little Big Planet Karting.

Little Big Planet 2 has been the game i've most played on my ps3 since I got it. If I get into the beta on the last day now ( Which is very unlikely ) I would be so grateful and it would make my day so much better than it is right now. By the way, I do not think this beta as a "early access" thing. Just to get that out of the way. Also, I would like to mention that some people got it by "whining". Keyword being: Whining. When you in this post specifically stated that you will invite more long term fans.

Now keep in mind I do not think I deserve it in my mind right now either. Right now while i'm writing this, I feel like i'm whining so I won't go any further. Me getting into the beta wouldn't change much anyways. Now i'm very depressed...Sincerely TheSixten.		2014-10-17 13:22:00

Hello Everyone!

We're expanding the LittleBigPlanet 3 Beta this week by inviting another wave of you awesome folks to join in the fun!

We have been keeping an eye on the various LittleBigPlanet community forums to pick out some long-term LBP fans that are hyped for Sackboy's new adventure and any other great folks that we feel are deserving of a chance to check out the LBP3 beta before we release the game.

Unfortunately as much as we would like to, we cannot fit everybody into the beta but due to popular demand we've tried our best to squeeze in as many people as we possibly can and we're effectively doubling the number of LBP community folks in the beta with this second wave.

Invites will be going out throughout this week, so be sure to keep an eye on your Private Messages (or your PSN's Email Address if you're in America/Canada), just in case you're fortunate enough to be receiving an invite!

Looking forward to seeing you all in the beta and I can't wait to see what you can all do with the new tool set before LittleBigPlanet 3 launches next month!



Although beta invites are almost done being sent, and I have yet to get one, I STILL will encourage every single player and creator to do what they do best in LBP3. My life has been based around this game and this game literally impacted me so heavily. Never before have I found something that tamed my wildest creative "outbursts", but LittleBigPlanet does the trick! I've owned and have been devoted to every single LBP game before this one, and I can't wait to (hopefully) beta test, that way I can contribute to the game's stability and playability. I've tested previous LBP games, so I think I'd be perfect for it. Not only that, but I get to toy around in create mode whilst having that fresh Christmas time feeling! It's a gift in itself really.

I'm going to get off my soapbox now. You all go and do what you do best, and if you would like me to beta test this heavenly creation that somehow fit into a Playstation then cAlL mE! Just kidding, but you can drop me an email or DM here, Twitter, or my PSN. Now, I'm not trying to be all pushy! Just letting you know I would be delighted to be able to test along with all my friends and you, Steven, along with Sarah.

Finally registered!
This is why I'm dying to join the sackpeople in the beta:
I have played and finished every LBP Game (LBP, LBP 2, LBP PSP, LBPK, LBP Vita, LBP PM)
I would love to see what the game is currently at.
Massive fanatic, used to run a fan site till I shut it down (Due to financial problems)
Never been in a beta before.
That's about it...

If this is not begging then I have no idea what is. You basicly first mock people who have asked for invitation but then start to tell how special you and your feelings are. Although I am glad you understood to correct yourself a bit in the end of the message, it doesn't really make you look very nice.

Peeps, if you are not getting invited, it is far from being catastrophy (which has been probably said before me thousands of times). In the modern world there is so many other great activities other than games too. Go draw stuff, go read books, go play games outside, go cook food to your family, go study languages, you won't regret any of these choices and they can be as much fun as playing the same game over and over again. After all the game will be in stores in no time too, so you just have to delay your schedules a small bit. Be happy to even have a possibility to get the game at some point, most of the people in the world are never able to have experiences like we have in developed countries.		2014-10-17 16:09:00

You know, I was very depressed when I wrote that. I'm a bit more cheered up right now however! I wouldn't say I "mocked" those people. I just said my feeling on me getting the beta right now. As for your suggestions on what I should do...Right now there isn't much and that wasn't really relateable to what I actually said. Also if you would've seen my tweets I chatted with a friend on there about everyone having the same experience as I do. And to my knowledge that isn't mocking. Hope this reply made you understand that everything I thinked of when I wrote that wasn't included.

The activity stuff: I suck at drawing, I already read books in my own time, I'm a nerd, right? I do geeky nerdy stuff, I usually do cooking with my dad, I study german. Hope you understand better now! 		2014-10-17 16:57:00

And about my suggestions, they were general ideas for everyone desperately waiting for an invite. World is out there, I am sure you can find as great or even greater experiences if you just seak for them. Time is running out for the codes to be sent. I read on Sarah's twitter that no more will be sent after this weekend. I'm not one to beg, but that won't stop me from hoping I get one! The last thing I want to do is continue to post and post about wanting in (Eventhough I've been hoping eversince late 2012 for a code to this) so I'll just leave and check every so often if I am sent a code. Why isn't there a camera that could move in full 3D?

I'm not sure, but the regular game camera alone is twitchy already. It might not be as easy to make a stable 3D camera as we think.

well, there isn't much you can do to earn the beta
it's like a token from the community, because you helped around

but, not everyone can have the beta, as a mod said earlier (I'm not sure which mod, sorry)

I like making contraptions and physics/logic based objects, like piston/cylinder pushing flywheel engine stuff and mechanical flipflops . lbp was brilliant as a 2d sandbox, rotate around z with layers. curious to see in new lbp3 objects can be rotated around all axis, can this be used in a working sandbox, or only in edit mode??

I'm imaging a working centrifugal flywheel governor and differential gearing system... would be brilliant!!

well, there isn't much you can do to earn the beta
it's like a token from the community, because you helped around

but, not everyone can have the beta, as a mod said earlier (I'm not sure which mod, sorry)

If I was to be invited that would be awesome and I would be extremely grateful as I have been playing LBP for years and years but I fully and utterly understand their are tight restrictions and all that but LBP3 is just round the corner and I'm gonna be playing some other games along with that to. Here are some reasons why I should be in the LBP3 Beta:
I beta tested other games.
Other games like The Elder Scrolls Online! I also participated in the LBPK beta. And I'm helping to work on and beta test Trixel Studio's game, LittleBigPlanet Flash. I would love to beta test LBP3.

When i beta test, i mainly look for glitches and bugs.
When i was beta testing Elder Scrolls Online, there was a glitch that allowed you to get unlimited money. I COULD'VE not told Bethesda and glitched the game, but i was honest. I told Bethesda and they fixed it the next day! (I also got a whole suit of armor called "Gift For The Chosen Ones").

I don't want it just to have it, if you know what i mean.
Most people want the game for one reason: they have it and others don't. But the reason why i want it is to help improve the game, so many others will enjoy it, and not have to deal with game breaking glitches. If i were to find a glitch/exploit, i would tell the proper people.

You can trust me.
Lets be honest here. Its pretty awesome I haven't gotten banned/suspended. Its probably because I mind my own business, and block people who try to start something. Another reason i haven't gotten banned is because, i don't gameshare. I think gamesharing is pretty badn because it is basically pirating. Well, it is. And when i do say "gameshare", there is always a "jk" right after it.

I'm a pretty laid back guy.
You might be wondering, "How does this help anything?". Well, in my eyes, it does. Would you want someone to be in the beta screaming at everyone? Or when they report a bug, they always type in caps lock. Or, they can be just plain annoying.

And if you don't get in, just remember a LBP beta is hard work, too. You have to figure out yourself how things work because the tutorials aren't made yet, you have to thorougly investigate bugs you run in to so the bug report will be as helpful as possible, your inventions might be set back by unfortunate crashes or you might not even be able to do what you want because of a bug, and whatever you build will not transfer to the final game. A clean, bug-free and unlimited start next month is not so bad, right? 2014-10-20 16:29:00

It's not that it's less floaty (because THAT'S physics) it's the controls that have been tightened up. Well, I've lost almost all hope. There has been two waves and I now doubt of anyone who still expects a free code get accepted into a highly unlikely third... Or not. Congratulations to everyone made it in and i didnt make in and i follow rules and guess im unlucky on betas and others and aslo been kind and play peoples levels when play mine.

I had more awards points on this other person and he got into beta i guess didnt pick me because begining too nice nothing lose get game when out but didnt see many players from uk get beta

True fans play levels and if someone play level they go play it.

I know that some people who barely even play LBP got into the beta.

Once again, remember that a beta is simply a tool to help the developers make the best game possible. If someone hates the music then their feedback is extremely valuable as they know what not to include next time; likewise, if someone bought the game and rarely plays it they need to know why so they can add options that will entice them back.		2014-10-21 17:05:00

I wouldn't worry about that, since you can disable each type of character, I'm assuming that and pre-LBP3 level will automatically be restricted to Sackboy

Didn't karting have some bad timing, and LBPV's low sales were due to low sales of Vitas in general?


I always thought there'd be a 3rd! LBP2 was good, but it was lacking. The use of soooo many glitches was a testament to that. Even LBP3 is already showing some inadequacies in a few areas. Granted, all we have is the BETA at the moment, so I'll hold my tongue on that.

But then again, I'm not expecting LBP3 to be able to do EVERYTHING. There's just no way. Unless of course something like the Game Infarcer ad from a while back became a reality.


Maybe... Just maybe, someday... LBP will come to PC and certain limitations will be gone. I just hope that it doesn't go to Apple.		2014-10-23 13:36:00
