| Ok i have lost the plot... there are a new series of levels coming out under the name Kindred.... This hoarder guy was sending out puzzles which people put together and discovered those teaser arts. it has no release dateb as of yet. | ...Sounds cool though. Chineeeese Cheeeese... Wait, aren't we going a little off topic? Story Ideas: I think the plot is becoming clearer now. The Hoarder is invading/attacking/stealing from the tribes. Each tribe represents a LBP 'style' (artistic, puzzling, platforming, humour, logic) and each specialises in creating these types of levels. I have a shrewd idea on which minions are working on which.  We will probably see the platformaranians first in the level series. Remember how the Hoarder is trying to get hold of some kind of 'technology'? This could be something important used by the tribes in creation, that will give the Hoarder great power. And didn't they say something about the tribes trying to stop him with their own technology? Perhaps there will be levels focused on a special devices, that help each tribe. (We have wondered about this idea before, but lately we still haven't had any proper evidence) It could just be referring to the tribes' skills in each level 'type' though. The player's role in the game could be either to: -fight the Hoarder or his creatures (protect the tribes) -find the technology (before the Hoarder?) -rally all the tribes to work together to defeat him (teamwork!!! -moral-) Anyone got any other ideas?  | 2010-10-28 10:34:00 Author: PygmyOwl Posts: 1316 |

| What's this level 1S I'm hearing about? Honestly, I do not know how you heard that. Though, it's not important anyway, so I'll go off and say it. There are a lot of levels tp work on for Kindred, so we organized each level with a number and letter. The first tribe of levels is worked like... 1A (1st Tribe, Level One) 1B (1st Tribe, Level Two) 1S (1st Tribe, Survival Challenge) 2A (2nd Tribe, 1st Level) 2B (2nd Tribe, 2nd Level) 2S (2nd Tribe, Survival Challenge) That's how the levels are organized, similar to that. However, I do believe it has something to do with eavesdropping on a little conversation I had with B3 not too long ago. | OMFG! I played the tesaser and thought the level looked a tiny bit naf, but when I saw what players were working on it!!! I know I'm not a really well known creator, (does 57 hearts count as populer?) but some of my levels have been hearted by the likes of Alismuffin (I'm her biggest fan!) and VelcroJonze, so I would REALLY like to be part of the team, I'm quite good at characters and really good at gameplay ideas, so please consider and then get back to me... HAng on a second, I thought I knew it! | Hey guys! Just thought I should drop in and leave this here, courtesy of the Kindred team. FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) What's this Kindred I've been hearing about? Kindred, LBPCentral's first PSP project, is a new series created by some of your beloved Creators! The series, containing over 15 levels, will focus around the player and his/her adventure through 5 mysterious tribes. The player will visit each tribe to learn about the new and threatening villain only known as The Hoarder. What lies ahead for the player, that is yet to be revealed. Who's in the project team? See the OP (Official Post). Can I please sign up!? We currently have no need for anymore Creators in our team. As far as I know, our last batch of Creators were probably the last ones to join. Are you guys going to finish all of the levels before you publish the first 3 (first tribe)? We've already decided to release the levels along the way; that way you guys have something to play while the rest of the series is being finished. Will The Hoarder be releasing them anytime soon? We are still not sure about how long this project will take. We can only say it's very soon, but we are not guaranteeing anything. Will you guys be releasing one tribe at a time for play or all of them at once? We still haven't decided on how we'll be releasing them. What other Kindred Kontests are there to come? | I was searching through my downloaded levels, and found a level called "My Level, Not Yours" By spark151. I downloaded it way before this project was announced, and I didn't know that there was a secret in the level. I found a hidden sticker switch that slides open the floor. I fell onto a platform with the title "Kindred" above. I'm killing myself for not finding this sooner! :kz: Anyway, I walked left over a bridge, and found Spark's psn logo attached to a piston(and he says that the logo was put together by an invisible material ). I was actually going through the levels, and picking out which ones to delete, and I stumbled upon that level on about page 7 of 13. I thought that there has to of been something secret in the level since it seemed so random. Matter of fact, too random. So, I played it, look in my popit, finding stickers when there are no stickers in sight, and from learning from my past experience with alismuffin's secret level, I thought that there must be a secret sticker switch. And, there was. | Hey all, Clearly, I am the Hoarder's favorite minion, so I'm not going to let y'all talk about hacking his precious levels behind his back. Cory has something nasty in the mail coming to him, so if he'll be missing, you know what happened... Anyone else attempting to tamper with the Hoarder's super duper hi-tech 3000 psi rpm lock devices will meet a similar, if not worser, fate. In general, hacking things is a bad idea, not to mention a criminal offense in some instances. If there's a lock on something, you should say to yourself, "Hey, this seems private and not intended for me. Maybe good things will happen to those who wait," and not "Hmm. I don't have a life, so I'll try all 10,000 combinations and ruin the surprise for myself and others." Please keep the discussion relevant and not about bypassing locks on levels. All off-topic and hacking posts will be deleted.
