Just to get this out there, I was pretty disappointed with that last day. I was expecting all of the civilians to be like "well, if we screw up today, we lose, so we should get together and use previous posts as evidence in order to find the mafia members". Instead, everyone pretty much just bandwagoned on Burn because they "suspected" him . | 2013-08-16 23:18:00 Author: Ryan86me Posts: 1909 |
I figured it was inevitable Rock voted for me, and we couldn't afford to get 1 vote wrong. Also, I was off the mark with Dawn, so it didn't matter really. | 2013-08-16 23:25:00 Author: Burnvictim42 Posts: 3322 |

| The mafia was laughing at us from the start. D: If it's any consolation, I wanted to make sure you and Cog were kept alive until the end and didn't get offed, so you and the other remaining civvies are welcome to create some sort of fanfic. where you guys escape the town where the next round resides. ![]() | 2013-08-16 23:35:00 Author: Dragonvarsity Posts: 5208 |

| So... Peanut Mafia, or are you guys as bored of this as I am? I'm cool with Peanut Mafia, but that's probably just because I wasn't playing this round (since I was the host and all). If nobody else wants Peanut Mafia, it'd be best if you waited. Also, fair warning - being a host is a LOT of work. Whoever the mafia members were... I give you a cookie. You played an excellent game! Much better then the last game! I agree. They deserve all of the cookies. As for you saying "whoever" they were - the members were Ali_star, Dragonvarsity, butter-kicker, and Jedi_1993. You can see everyone in the thread's specific roles on my post on page 50 . | 2013-08-17 00:18:00 Author: Ryan86me Posts: 1909 |

| Let's not do a new mafia thread. Instead, let's revive that old RPG Thread Rawk made. I could go for a change of pace. | 2013-08-17 01:12:00 Author: Ryan86me Posts: 1909 |

| The answer is twofold: Everything I did during the mafia game was to elicit a reaction. As you can see, I had identified most of the players, and knew most of the rants I started ended in killing a civilian (hence, I withdrew my vote before they were killed). I wanted to kill someone straight off the bat to see what people thought, and to put the Mafia on their toes. It drew out Butter, and I believed him initially, but realized later that noone would react that way after being boldly accused, missing my only chance to catch a Mafia member. SnipySev was more or less a random pick. He was the most suspicious to me after day 1, as he was throwing suspicion around left and right, so he got offed early. When Ryan posted Butter's PM publicly, I felt my hand was being forced. I wanted to save my second kill for late in the game, when I knew the identities of Mafia for certain, but I couldn't risk the chance of being offed early. I chose GDN because he fit perfectly into the timeframe scenario I mentioned earlier. It seemed unlikely that Ryan received the PM early, and didn't choose to respond then, but I guess that's what happened. In general, I was trying to hide my role in plain sight. The mafia wouldn't want to off me, and they saved me for the last day (correct me if i'm wrong ), because of the way I was acting. Ironically, you should have listened to the Mafia - as Ali_star pointed out, no Mafioso would want to start bandwagons, and drawing attention to myself was meant to dispel suspicion, instead of bring it in ![]() Also... http://i1.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/505/362/3f4.gif http://24.media.tumblr.com/db6dfee3bd88eccd6861cb68977ff0b6/tumblr_mk4biiyOOV1s9n4cro1_500.gif | 2013-08-17 02:47:00 Author: gdn001 Posts: 5891 |
| Why did y'all mafia members vote me out? Surely you had no idea I was the Sheriff | 2013-08-17 08:15:00 Author: craigmond Posts: 2426 |
| A little late to the big reveal but yes. I was a mafioso. I'm surprised at how few votes we all got throughout the game. As for why we voted for Craig, well we needed to be sure the good Doctor wouldn't be saving our target and thought you'd be ignored by them. Rock, well played with your role we were totally surprised by that save. The biggest surprise of course was the vigilante and assassin both going for the same person. It actually seemed to help disguise that butter was the assassin. To be honest we mostly took out quiet people (other than ourselves), the townsfolk got rid of most of the 'problem people'. And finally Burn. You gathered a lot of evidence on innocents. Maybe look at the people leaving none. Like Scooby Doo, it's, practically, always the ones you least suspect. | 2013-08-17 08:28:00 Author: Jedi_1993 Posts: 1518 |
| I want to play again. People didn't get bored with the game, the active players just died. | 2013-08-17 09:41:00 Author: FreeAim Posts: 2462 |
| Well, props to the Mafia. Dat flawless win. I'm all for a new game, but let's just wait a bit, so we can get this out of our system and start fresh. The only person I strongly suspected of being mafia was Dragonvarsity. He was way too quiet and reserved throughout the game. It was inconsistent with his behaviour during the last game, where he spoke his mind often and without fear of making enemies. Burn told me through PM he was the vigilante right after I was killed. So when y'all bandwagoned on him, I knew it was over. That was really stupid, by the way. Out of all the civilians who were still alive, only Cog realized the obvious: if almost everyone was voting on Burn, that means the mafia was voting on him too. They were using the bandwagon to their advantage. Ergo, Burn's not mafia, unless they were trying a needlessly overcomplicated gambit. And of course, Burn's random killings were the stupidest thing of all, but that goes without saying. EDIT: By the way Ryan, where's the newspaper this time? You promised me you'd make Burn's death as disgustingly, revoltingly, Game Of Thronesily gruesome as possible. | 2013-08-17 10:53:00 Author: SnipySev Posts: 2452 |

When I realized that everyone had voted for Burn I did wonder whether we'd made a mistake. But it was too late by then anyway ![]() Sorry about all the accusations, Burn and FreeAim, but you have to admit you were asking for it. You were both pretty suicidal At least I was right about Ali, even if I was wrong about the reasons ![]() Good game anyway, well done you mafia scum. | Why did y'all mafia members vote me out? Surely you had no idea I was the Sheriff I actually mentioned in our mafia chatbox (before we killed you) that I thought you were the sheriff. Based on the fact that nobody who was active seemed to have a clue who to vote for. If the sheriff was active I was sure by that point that he would have investigated one of us, and would be actively gunning for that person. No active player gave me that impression, thus I believed that the sheriff was innactive - hence the vote for you. When I realized that everyone had voted for Burn I did wonder whether we'd made a mistake. But it was too late by then anyway ![]() Sorry about all the accusations, Burn and FreeAim, but you have to admit you were asking for it. You did better than our lot last time ![]() Yeah, well played for your suspicions of me. It's a shame that you became inactive after your big long post, because I was looking forward to squaring off against you and proving you wrong! Anyway, big shout out to all my mafia chums! Enjoyed playing with you chaps, we made it look easy in the end! Also a big thanks to Shooter, for making himself look so incredibly mafia, even I was starting to believe he was one! And finally a big thanks to Burn, CogMonkey and FreeAim for bringing most of the attention onto themselves! We couldn't have done it without you guys! <3 I'd also like to thank my parents, God, the baby Jeebus............ | 2013-08-17 11:21:00 Author: Ali_Star Posts: 4085 |

It was inconsistent with his behaviour during the last game, where he spoke his mind often and without fear of making enemies. Funny, considering I actually logged out of LBPC on my mobile phone to secretly check the past Mafia thread to act similarly to how I did when I was innocent, which I guess failed, but c'est la vie. xP Props for seeing through my little first-timer mafia ruse, it's too bad you couldn't stick around to make it more challenging. ![]() | 2013-08-17 12:09:00 Author: Dragonvarsity Posts: 5208 |

I didn't suspect you at least until the middle of the game. And then again, I wasn't really sure. Maybe you had just lost interest. Looking back, it seems to have been the common behavior for the mafiosos during this round. Generally quiet and reserved, staying relatively neutral at all times and rarely making any serious accusations. Jedi and butter also had the good sense of not attracting attention to themselves. I believe Ali was the most active of the four, but even he didn't RAWK the boat much. Well played, all of you. EDIT: Crikey, this time we didn't even get to half the pages of the last round. And not even half the drama ![]() | 2013-08-17 12:34:00 Author: SnipySev Posts: 2452 |
