I hate create mode traps. You know, the glitched-front-layer box that someone traps you in so you can't even hover out of it. Then that ______________ of a player hides the entre object , so you can do nothing but sit there as the player goes off, and has a capturing-spree with all of your objects that you forgot to delete.

You know what you can do about that? You can take a controllinator, stick it on something, change its radius just enough so you can get out, and enter it. Exit and TADAH! Open a fresh organic can of whoop-butt on the little booger who thought he could trap your rage.


When levels have long, un-skippable cutscenes at the very beginning of the level, and every time you restart the level you have to watch it all over again. It's really annoying when I'm trying to ace something.

Ok, so I read all 50 pages on this thread, and I'm RAGING OUT!!!!!!!! I feel like the Hulk.
Anyways, what I hate about LBP...ahh yes:
1. I hate all kinds of n00bs. They're just so annoying.
2. The friend that always rejects your join requests. Seriously, why have that friend if they'll always reject you?3. The friend that ALWAYS wants to join you and bombards you with join requests.
4. I also hate when you feel like to have to yay a friend's level. Or else they'll interigate you on why you booed or didn't rate their level.

I'll add more as they start to annoy and bother me.

This poor soul definitely is not aware of what a troll truly is. A troll can be a number of things, but you are certainly not considered one for a thing like that. Yeah, Vale is a bit of a pest. Always trying to join you when you're trying to get some creating done!

Unamed levels with no subscribers with no pictures.

Levels that are made in 2minutes, I mean realy. I know that creating isnt the easiest thing in LBP but spend at least 2 weeks or just learn before publishing. There are like what 6.000.000 million levels? and growing, and then there is like 5.000.000 or more those 2minutes levels.

Complainers who thinks that MM picks the wrong level because its not so "special" well go to the my moon and create a special super amazing level then. In my opinion a good level doesnt have to be nesseserily something super special 3D visual effects mini 1st person shooter action game of the year level.		2012-02-07 05:46:00

I hate it when people don't use capital letters in their level titles and descriptions. It's just plain lazy.

I also hate it when you have 2 microchips open, one of them is behind the other. You drage your cursor over a few of the logic bits to copy them, and it ends up coppying stuff from the microchip behind.

Pretty much an impossible fix, but I hate it when you put real effort into a level and then never see it reach the cool pages because it's covered in Costume levels or LBP1 levels that have been imported. It's either them or you see a lot of rubbish that was rushed and yet reached the cool pages because of either perfect timing or they're running Virgin Media fibre optic and are sat outside the exchange point. Wow. What a butt. Unfortunately, most of the 10-11 year old population of LBP is like this; they go way too far when insulting, and they just won't stop. They never have good reasons to hate you, but I'm guessing he's just jealous of you. So he sees no other way to display that than sabotage or making your level look bad. They're transitioning into Middle School, so I wouldn't be surprised of their love of Monster and dubstep. Oh well. I'd just ignore it. It's funny when they get mad .

The thing that annoys me the most is when somebody goes around booing your levels because they want the BOO or YAY 50 levels etc. Or, when someone plays your level, dislikes, then leaves a comment saying needs more detail and goes on about something that they clearly have not attempted themselves when you re-visit their own planet. This is stupid because we are supposed to be a friendly community. I also get annoyed at the amount of levels that reach the cool pages that consist only of a sackbot singing a bad record of that persons favourite song.2012-02-17 09:02:00

I would like to stress that I strongly dislike the situation in which an individual "boos" a level that is quite obviously of good quality, and when you observe that person's history, you discover that they dislike every level that they fancy better than their own. I think that they engage in this behavior out of being jelly. Quite an interesting conjecture, and quite the appalling display of character, do you not concur, chap?

Fortunately I only keep my closest PSN friends on the list (about a dozen) so it doesn't get too annoying. But yeah, they should give the option to turn that off or at least remove the log-off warnings. Most of us have mentioned how we dislike newbies running around publishing levels made in 3 seconds with a copied roller-coaster or singing sack bot with rubbish voice-over. And it really annoys me too. But I also dislike it when a much less newbie creator comments with some inappropriate words. Most of us have mentioned how we dislike newbies running around publishing levels made in 3 seconds with a copied roller-coaster or singing sack bot with rubbish voice-over. And it really annoys me too. But I also dislike it when a much less newbie creator comments with some inappropriate words. I dislike how PS3 has to show you everytime someone on your friend list logs off. like when 1 guy keeps logging on and off over & over for like half a hour... gets a bit annoying after a while. *mew
You can turn that off if you want. Look for Notification Messages under System Settings.

I actually took the time tonight at 3.00am to log into LBPC and complain. Because, not only is the cool pages 1 - 3 covered in the same Press button level which for some reason people are still ruddy well playing but also now the TOP level on page 1 is a copied yes copied shark survival from LittleBigPlanet1!! It has around 5000 plays and it's not even his/her work (which they fail to acknowledge) What the hell is happening to the Community as for some reason we are still playing and liking these levels and what in the world is happening to the cool pages!!! Sorry people! Rant over now.

I mean, back then, levels and contraptions were so crafty and complex, and even MORE impressive acknowledging the fact that it might have all been made with pistons and switches. Now...meh. You got yer microchips, yer "automatic-this", "easy-that" switch, it's all too easy. It's like it was pre-made. Of course, LBP2 might have HAD to been simplified in order to outshine the possibilities LBP1 brought up. It's like time. Back then, we had rocks and swings. Now, we have Iphones and PlayStations.

I agree with this statement also. It really bothers/baffles me how a crummy level like that gets to the top. There are still loads of dislikes and hates, but still more likes for some reason. Who knows the idiots who decide to like and bring up this poop? I guess majority rules. There's no real filter to it, it just depends on the community. Now, I'm not going to be a JERK and blame it on the community, but I have to say that that bad half is a troublesome bunch. But you do realize that our community also includes 3-10 year olds. They might like anything they think is fun, no matter if it was cheated off the poor fellow who created it. Oh well. The quality varies from week to week. I've noticed Japanese levels on the rise. They're actually pretty fun! Scary...but fun! And creative. So our community isn't dead, but the good part is just hidden. Like a sour gummy. You want to get all the flavor out, but the sour is all NGHEEH in your mouth, and when you go deep enough, it's bliss. Horrible example. So yeah. Nice metaphor and yeah it's true the community ranges from very young to very old but surely after you'e seen one shark/bomb/zombie survival you've seen them all? Agh, I hate those comments too. It's basically the LBP version of YouTube's "thumbs up if". I do NOT see why people are so desperate for virtual kudos! It makes them look foolish, selfish, and it's just plain annoying. The "mm pick" thing also. Okay, it's good, but it ain't great. It wouldn't really qualify as a pick (sorry, that sounds a bit rude). I've been playing some "scary" levels recently, and as you may have guessed, it wasn't the least bit scary. They were also very poorly made. Yes, they got onto the CPs. 1. I hate when tons of people like horrid levels for some miraculous reason. 2. I hate when people like and review with "OMGz it sooooo skaRY I ped My Pantsz." Just goes to show that lots of people get scared waaay too easily. I know little kids also play this game, but if you've seen some of the "scary" stuff out there, it's laughably bad. In one, there was a couple of spray cans in the hall...and the speech bubble said "OMG WTF aaaHH". Cool, a spray can. So scary. Honestly. I've found yet another thing that angers me to no end.

Our level requires a LOT of magic mouths and sequencers and thus cause a great deal of lag.
Unfortunately, the lag persists during play mode. I have made the lag as minimal as possible, but it is still noticeable, especially in music.

Yeah this lag drives me crazy too... Ability to convert/save the music track into one noneditable file (mp3, or format used by LBP with option to save it on hdd) and use it as an official music tracks would be great and it would solve the music lag a little...(because I don't encounter this lag while official music play, or at least not that much)....2012-03-14 11:11:00

I read a players review list the other day.
He had downrated a bunch of levels that weren't platformers and written a lot of rude comments. And on one level that was a platformer, he'd written something along the lines of 'Good for you! People need to stop making these stupid non-platformers!'

You know what really makes me mad? Today I saw a huge scam level on the Cool Pages. It was this guy claiming to have access to Little Big Planet 3, its beta, and its items. He said that in order for it to work, you must heart him ,find his earth, and be playing one of his levels. He made it sound like it was so hard to simply find his profile, he said that it would take "more than 30 minutes". Uh, what? He was on the Cool Pages with two levels that had more than 1,000 plays! He said it'd be easier just to heart him. Those were the only "steps". On his "beta items" giveaway level, he was just giving out poorly made community objects and LBP1 costumes. What a scam! The evidence is obvious. And tons of people believed him! (at least on the "tutorial" level).

Personally I hate playing LBP. If I want to "play" a game then I'll load up Skyrim, Saints Row or whatever. On rare occasions I might find a community level that really entertains or impresses me, but LBP generally occupies the number one spot in my disc tray for one reason alone, and that is create mode. When I'm itching to get to work on my levels, the last thing I want to be doing with my free time is trying to get high scores on irritating mini-games that make me feel like smashing my PS3 to pieces.

In fact, my repeated failure to get any score at all in Fast Food after an hour of trying last night put me in an extremely bad mood. Shouting, swearing and kicking things. If I really wanted to feel that way then I would go and spend 5 minutes with my wife instead of playing on my PS3.		2012-03-23 00:27:00

Friends are great in these things in LittleBigPlanet.
Let them do it for you and let them invite you when they are done before theyre taking the prices.
Though I use to do it myself with no problem.
So if you got any play friends with move so should you defienatly ask them.
Same thing goes with acing levels if the friend are at the scoreboard and invites you so do you get the ace too.
Well it worked inm LBP1 when I helped people but I think they havent changed that in LBP2.

except not all creators on LBP are players. and not all of them have friends willing to help them out with getting everything in the game. sure i have no problem playing to get everything myself. but i know a lot of well known creators who never have 100%ed the game because they find it to hard and time killing and just wanna create.		2012-03-23 12:46:00

God, I HATE the Move Pack mini games! They're IMPOSSIBLE. In Fast Food, you literally have to get every single prize bubble to succeed, and that's the easy level.
Defense Mechanism is ridiculously long.
Pond Skater has an overpriced prize vending machine.
Don't even get me started on the mouse thing.
I really wish I could get those prize bubbles without having to spend hours on one level trying to get the score. The annoying calibration and switching of the motion controller doesn't help much either. A hundred dollars on a thing I end up almost loathing...the stuff is worth it though.		2012-03-25 20:32:00

2 Things which make this hell. 1 its more of a puzzle lvl. 2nd. THAT MAZE IS LITRALY IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!


Ok:

1) The level is called "Musical Heaven", but I specifically state in the description that there are puzzles. Plus, there are 3 themed sections, only one of which is puzzle based.... and so what if "its more of a puzzle lvl"..... what bloody difference does that make?
2) Why the hell would I create a maze that is "LITRALY IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!"? Yes, it's got a slightly difficult part to it, but all it requires is a bit of timing. Booing a level because you're crap at it is nonsense.

A message to anyone on here that's got children. Please don't let them grow up to be morons.

I hat those dam pistons that can't hold a unknown (to me) amount of wheight. When you reacht that wheight they will change angle, stiff or not.
I also hate all those bad levels in the great level list, I've seen levels that are far worse than mine and I only got 20 plays =S

Well, if it has the Sonic DLC, then obviously he didn't try to make his own costume. And anyway, I hate costume levels. BTW, both of these comments were just copy+pasted from some random comments pages, so don't come to me whining about improper use of full stops or too much spacing. Cause, no offense, there seem to be a lot of grammar Nazis around in these forums.

I also hate how there's always that one friend who decides to walk in the level you're working on, activating every single little switch, forcing you to rewind millions of times. I also hate how so many people spend all day fussing over their costumes; like removing stickers and then placing them in the exact same spot or adding the sharp tooth decoration everywhere... I hate how they always decide to fix their costumes in the middle of a really intense scene of a level or when they need to press a button for the rest of us... you know, situations like that.

People who just love to make you mad. I'm sure many of these instances have been mentioned before, but what the hay.
-When you die, and they decide to stand right next to the checkpoint and dance or something.
-When you die, and they decide to make a comment that takes thirty years to type.
-When you get to the scoreboard, and that little booger over there isn't on it and decides to run away, killing everyone out of the camera and leaving the level unfinished and all to themselves.
-When people invite you just because they want to flame you personally and/or kill you (never fallen for it).
-People who just decide to punch everyone all day, and if he/she is so much as flicked, that person FLIPS OUT.
-(Sorry) Friends who constantly invite you 24/7, right as you get on or something creeper status like that.
-People who start gawking and asking to gameshare if you have something rare or something they want, and if you refuse they constantly beg.
-Turds who make "rare c0stoom" levels just to show off what they have, because they know you have to have the never-gonna-come-out-again DLC to actually wear it.
-People who make levels about killing/beating another user, I think that's really vulgar, unnecessary, and flat out going too far.
-People who have an extremely large ego and superiority complex and blame everyone else in the community for faults in it. "OmG, u guys are sooo stupid 4 playing his lvls, JUS DONt play them! u only play them to reevew and commit and it onle gives him/her moar PLAYS!u r all so stupid, its all ur faults." Man, I just wish I could shove a sock down those peoples' throats.
-Even though they can be extremely helpful, and I like them most of the time, sometimes those people who scour every centimeter of your level for flaws just to announce them to the world like they discovered a new planet. I kind of find it weird that they just snoop around my level to try and find an escape route or glitch. Again, I like those kinds of people most of the time, as they point out important things. I just don't like the obnoxiously rude ones.

Newest update. First time I played it, this happened:

- 45mb download. I know that is small, but it didn't feel like it. Took 10min at least to download (and my connection should be *much* faster than 76kb/s or so).
- Multiplayer woes. At first, I thought "Sweet! They have finally fixed the multiplayer ", and jumped in at once. No such luck. On first try, the screen faded to white (as earlier), and left the stupid "searching for players" logo spinning on my screen glitching. I went back to the menu, and got the logo back to the correct size (as the menu picked up that it was on screen).

Undeterred by that; I patiently waited for it to get players. It did eventually find them ("players busy" first, some fade to whites w/logo glitches, rejections..), but the process wasn't exactly streamlined. Messages obscured each other while they popped on to the screen, and it looked like a complete chaos. Not to mention that backing off from the waiting screen didn't occasionally stop the process, still checking several players before ceasing (and once jumping to that player).

- Boo removed. In my eyes, stupidity beyond imagination; the only public negative ranking method that could not be effortlessly discounted by players, wiped (comments can be removed and censured, even if they have merit.. yays and boos can not). Why not improve the system, instead of taking this hokey solution 		2012-04-20 16:22:00

This. a week or so ago I saw a level in the uncool pages with 2000 plays and the title was something like, 'need good emo gf H4H'. all of my rage

I rarely use the queue feature at all and it's reserved almost exclusively for levels I'm playing for F4F purposes from here :/

This annoys the heck out of my eyes. I hate it when your costume looks awesome with one of the light colors, but then nobody can read your text and you're forced to change it. I wonder why they just didn't make the text TURN BLACK when you did that? I mean, it's easier to read. There's even a WHITE popit color for pete's sake!

I hate it when people accept your join request, but then they kick you for no reason a bit later. It peeves me off so bad. Or (lotso people mentioned THIS one) when the host is a total jerk and punches and kills you deliberately, and when you do one thing back to them to save your sack butt, they flip out and kick you. I joined two people in a level, and then they both started randomly punching me and my brother right when we popped in. I retaliated, and then the jerk of a host took oh so long to say "IMA KICK U OUT NOW". Pfft. Good riddance, buttwipe. He was probably like eight. I hate it when people automatically assume your "just another player" if your not wildly well known in the community. What I mean is the player with a closed-mind mentallity, who believes that everyone in the community accept for them is a n00b and should be treated as such. I hate it when players like that freak out whenever you hover near them in create mode when they're about to take out an object, because they're too paranoid to trust any player with their object. They slap you for no reason, they type or say the randomest waste just to see how you react, and the overall way they act and treat a player is offensive. People who don't use the grid in levels that really need it. Caves, jungles, asteroids, the insides of enormous creatures? Yep, fine without the grid. Spaceships, buildings, castles, stairs. vehicles? Grid is pretty much essential.

People who put magic mouths in the level with a ****ty recorded song on it, rather than using the music MM gave us or making their own. Adding recorded speech to a song? Good idea, if done well. Doing the whole song through a magic mouth? Uh, no.

Videogame Preachers, making levels like "J3SUS L0VeS U OLOLOLOL!!!!!11!!1ONE!!1", especially when they spam your profile when you tell them how awful the levels are (they usually are dreadful). For crying out loud, LBP is a KID'S GAME! Spare the preaching for the church! Not that I'm mentioning any names...*cough* Armouroffaith Angelsway Youngstoryteller *cough*

Mortal Kombat. UGH.

Speech that Sackbots are supposed to be saying that isn't routed through the Sackbots, so we just have subtitles, and a Sackbot with an unmoving mouth. Just plain lazy.

Levels completely set on the floor of the level. Showing the floor, done well, can work (just look at Boom Town from LBP1) but not all the time.

Go******** MINECRAFT levels. If I wanted to play Minecraft, I'd play Minecraft, not the poorly made rubbish we get on the Cool Pages.

The Female Announcer voice. ARGHARGGHARGAHRGH. I like most of the gibberish voices....but that one...UGH.

People who think that covering a kevel in car bumper decorations automatically makes it look awesome. They're partly right, as they are very versatile decorations, but still, COME ON.

"DESTROY LATIN_PLAYER_10/STEPHANIE_RAVENS/MCRILEY!!!!!111!!!1" levels. I think not.

Obstacles where the slightest miscalculation results in a trip back to the last checkpoint. Doubly so if it's a long way back. Triply so if it's not an infinite checkpoint.

You know what one of my big pet peeves is around here? People who post in the level showcase something like this:

Yo, just published a new level. I'd like you to try it out. I spent 3 whole hours on it so, yeah, it's pretty detailed and stuff and my brother made the zombies so try it out.

And that's it. No LBP.me link, no pictures, no description of the level, nothing. And a lot of times, this is coming from members who have been here a year or longer. We have a cool tool here at LBPC, when used, it pulls the LBP.me info for you and puts it right in the thread. Wow. Remarkable. GAH!! I hate those "song sackbots", the sackbots that have a recorded song on them. I hate it, not only because people always seem to pull out the songs I hate, but because if it's put into create mode for more than 10 seconds, the sound for the game itself (only on my end of the group) goes dead, and I have to exit, them re-enter the game, which is a pain in the @55 to do. I hate looking on the cool levels page and seeing a level with either "Forrest" or "Nature" in the name. They almost all look the same, with the same log object, same materials, same gameplay and in almost all of them you have to press a button or pull a switch just to watch a 10-15 second long cutscene of a bouncepad turning on. This is going to sound really stupid, but there's one thing that makes my stomach churn.

"Horror" levels. The levels with a horribly decorated sackbot chasing you across a map that looks like living diarrhea. They don't even END. I don't get how some people enjoy that, much less are actually SCARED of them. The only reason I'd be scared of them is because of their horribly scary quality. I'd sure love to tell some of these ten year olds to play Dead Space or Amnesia and then tell me the level was scary, but it seems the majority loves it. Ugh.2012-06-02 13:43:00

I'll most definitely have to play this disturbing level, just as soon as I get the PS3 net back, curses! Building up an atmosphere for a scary level isn't too difficult, but saving it from being clich?d and lame takes skills, skills that pay the bills. And when I've got a sinister atmosphere going, I find an appropriate scare (done well) can make the level quite horrifying. And like you said, there's nothing scary about a bunch of noises, flickering lights and odd occurrences... and nothing else.		2012-06-03 07:38:00

Sorry for the slight bump:
Two words. JUMP levels. They have now haunted the LBP2 cool pages.
I wonder how long it will take for your legs to ache after jumping like 30-100 ledges.

The Dive-in feature is horrible:

Two words. Movie discriminators.
TYPICAL REVIEW. "Oh, this movie was absolutely excellent, but I won't rate it up because I would rather pay money to sit in a crowded, dirty public room full of obnoxious people and kids to watch some overhyped braindead summer movie that in no way features sackboy instead of being comfortable in my own home watching your movie for free. So technically, I'm not giving you the praise you deserve because I just don't like movies and I feel entitled to judge you based on my own preferences instead of the quality of your work."

Every time I see "if I wanted to see a movie, I'd go see a movie", I want to slap the sack that posted that. I don't even think they realize what they're saying. With the logic they have, they could simply say "if I wanted to play a platformer, I'd play a platformer," but they don't, although the logic is exactly the same. I know a lot of you are going to say the LBP platformers are different from other platformers, but in the same ways, LBP movies are different from real life movies. They are both unique and offer something nothing else does. Never in your life will you see a real life movie in a theater that was made in LBP, just like you would never play an LBP platformer in another videogame. So please, stop discriminating.
