Oooooh New info! Just re-read the article and it said that there were two unknown powerups that they only saw the name for in the pop-it: -Magic Glove and Bag Pretty cool... ^_^ | 2010-05-09 20:50:00 Author: Plasmavore ![]() Posts: 1913 |
2 things... 1, remember Grant said earlier in the thread that there's at least one "BIG THING" still to be revealed. Since he posted that, there has definitely been no major new breakthroughs from the screenshots and tidbits of new info. I'm sure that even with all this information breaking over the weekend, Mm's still got a few bombs to drop tomorrow. EDIT: I semi-take it back... Magic Glove sounds like a pretty big new find! 2... I've played some scary levels in LBP1. People have been able to create some really creepy, frightening worlds with creepy-crawlies lurking in the dark. But now with sackbots... Can you imagine? The scariness of the really scary levels is going to hit the ceiling! | 2010-05-09 20:50:00 Author: Teebonesy ![]() Posts: 1937 |

Wow. Big thread. Not the biggest... But in two days?? Bah! Will there need to be a new fan site for LBP2?? This site was for the original - would we still use it for the second title?? Or would the whole forum page be split into thirds (don't forget PsP everyone!)? Bah IDK! I am looking forward to this though. Very excited. *head asplode* I swear the first thing I do will be a reenactment of all major wars with the sackbots ![]() | 2010-05-09 20:54:00 Author: Keanster96 ![]() Posts: 1436 |

Btw, I think sackbots can pick stuff up, because in a few screens there's a few huge blocks of sponge and I dunno how a sackbot can get over(unless it can jump really high). | 2010-05-09 20:59:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |

lol too much awesomeness....but im still SURPRISED NOBODY HAS MENTIONED OR ASKED ABOUT THIS(from all the pages ive read) Well my pod consists of a lot of leaves scattered around the place so that when people enter I can hide in the corner. They assume it's a glitch because they seem to be the only one to be in the pod and just when they're about to quit, they get ninja slapped. But enough about my pod antics, what I'd like to see is the ability to attach connectors/materials to the Sackbots. That would give you a lot of flexibility. | 2010-05-09 21:51:00 Author: Killian ![]() Posts: 2575 |

I wonder how they'll do racing. I'm guessing that they'll let you make top down levels, like zelda or nitro, so your looking down onto your sackboys head rather than looking side on. I'm not sure :/ | 2010-05-09 21:58:00 Author: Asbestos101 ![]() Posts: 1114 |

I'm a bit late to this "party" but I think LBP2 is looking pretty great at the moment. I could literally write an essay summing up my thoughts about the announcement but so I don't bore you (and myself) I'll try to keep things short. The features I'm most excited about are: . Sackbots (advanced AI) . Control Seats (no more "hold R1 to accelerate" vehicles) . The grappling hook power-up (should have a lot of potential) . "warp pipes" (I seriously cannot describe how awesome these would be if they were implemented into the game) . "Holographic" material (Should help with logic) I think LBP 2 is going to be awesome if it turns out like what we've seen so far. However; I am taking all this information with a grain of salt, as I wouldn't be too surprised if all this turns out to be fake. | 2010-05-09 21:59:00 Author: lk9988 ![]() Posts: 1077 |

I'm not sure :/ I reckon it'll still be with a side view, similar to how we can do them now, but just... better. I'm not sure how, maybe it just means that with direct control seats we'll have much more control of vehicles (accelrator, brake, boost etc). Split screen cameras may allow multiplayer races. There might even be infinite size backgrounds, or ones which loop right to left, so you could create lapped races. | 2010-05-09 22:01:00 Author: Nuclearfish ![]() Posts: 927 |

This would be an optional setting for creators and this will allow the creation of these kinds of levels. | 2010-05-09 22:04:00 Author: Killian ![]() Posts: 2575 |

I'm thinking the Sackboy doesn't have to be on the screen any more. This would be an optional setting for creators and this will allow the creation of these kinds of levels. True, backed up by this in the first post. Media Molecule loves that a lot of user-created levels in LBP1 were homages to classic games and laments that so many manipulations of the creation tools were necessary to do them. Sackboy won't need to be "hidden behind the curtain" when you make games with LBP2. Looping levels would be cool but unlikely. Then again you could put a tube at the end and have it tunnel under the whole level back to the start for the next lap. | 2010-05-09 22:07:00 Author: Jedi_1993 ![]() Posts: 1518 |

For some reason im thinking the magic glove is the power up for the ps move. I havent seen anybody talk about the materials in the pictures, they look pretty nice. Hmm, this magic glove rumor sounds interesting. Oh, wow. Looks like I'm a bit late to the party. These screenshots have pretty much sold me already. I can already think of all the things to do with sackbots... Like have your own sackboy greet players to your level... Or have players control your sackperson. Or have actual sackboy characters rather than simple cut-outs... Hmm, this magic glove rumor sounds interesting. If it's not Move related, perhaps it would allow players to pick up and manipulate objects like they do in create mode? I'd say you're right about this. That is something I always thought that should have been integrated in LBP. Actually, before buying it, I thought that that kind of powerup would be there, and that you'd have, like, the power to beat levels just out of creativity. And about the BAG powerup, I'm pretty convinced that it has to do with some kind of inventory. I mean, if we are to be capable to do RPGs, we are gonna need something like that, no? | 2010-05-09 23:34:00 Author: Keldur ![]() Posts: 628 |

OMFG!!!!!!!! http://twitter.com/lbplanetoid/status/13677432487 That is the only time I have ever found a rickroll funny. Thanked your post. Also, this game is SCREAMING giant epic quadrupedal megamech. Really? I hear the screaming too, but I swear it's saying BIPEDAL mechs. Dangit. That was my plan! So do it. What does it matter to you that somebody else is doing it too? I don't worry about all the other bipedal mechs out there right now, 'cuz I know that my mechs are the best in all of lbp. If you have the same idea as somebody else (it's not like mechs are an uncommon idea), then just make yours better. .....so am i too late to claim a rock-em sock-em robots level with sackbots??? *groan* Depends on what you mean by claim. You want to claim that you're the first to think of the idea? The article specifically mentions that the hud example Mm showed them was a health bar for a fighting game, so that means Mm had the idea of fighting sackbots first. Seriously, people, this game is about creativity for the sake of the community. You make levels that people want to play (personally, I make stuff that I want to play, and then I publish it so others can play it too if they are so inclined). Stop trying to be the first to come up with something or to get famous (famous on the internet? Really? Like that means something?) and all of that crap and just play the game. | 2010-05-09 23:36:00 Author: Sehven ![]() Posts: 2188 |

Magic Glove speculation ahead! - I think it's probably a PS Move powerup as mentioned above. Move is releasing this fall... LBP2 is releasing this fall or winter... We know LBP2 will have Move support. There's got to be SOME kind of Move powerup. It seems safe to add 2 and 2 in this situation! - HOWEVER! How about the following idea: The glove powerup works with a new type of "handle" switch you can put on small objects (or hell, why not big objects too?). This allows the object to be wielded as a CUSTOM powerup. The way it works is, you can connect the "handle" switch to whatever you want the "R1" button to do. If you want it to shoot something, connect it to an emitter on the object. If you want it to swing like a melee weapon, connect it to a fast-speed motorbolt, wobblebolt, or piston. The community could come up with some pretty cool stuff if they could make custom "R1" powerups. That's really just a pipe-dream idea, I really do expect that it's going to be a PS Move item. | 2010-05-09 23:47:00 Author: Teebonesy ![]() Posts: 1937 |

I can imagine every costume level will have a sackbot with the costume following you around. And maybe a bunch of horror levels will have sackbots getting dismembered. And perhaps there'll be some levels where rude, angry people will have "10 ways to kill *PSN*", and have a sackbot of that user. | 2010-05-10 00:05:00 Author: Darth ![]() Posts: 186 |
And to answer the question about the new powerups, Plasmavore mentions it earlier in the thread after reading the article in the magazine. Basically, Mm didn't show off these powerups to the magazine editors, but their keen eyes noticed the names of the powerups in the popit even though they didn't see them in action. They are: "Magic Glove" "Bag" So yeah, my guesses go along with the general consensus - that Magic Glove will be the PS Move device, and that the "bag" will allow players to collect items or stickers or whatever in a temporary bag that only lasts for that level. It'll allow you to do Metroidvania style stuff, collecting an item that will allow you to go through certain locked or closed off areas once you have it, but without cluttering up your popit with tons of space-taking stickers. Maybe there's a new form of "prize bubble", but instead of a permanent prize, it's just an intventory item that goes into your bag just for that level/series? | 2010-05-10 00:08:00 Author: Teebonesy ![]() Posts: 1937 |

If someone managed to glitch merge the Grappling hook and the magic glove (if the magic glove is able to pick stuff up) then we would have a functioning portal gun. =D From what they've shown in screenshots, it looks like the grappling hook might be able to pick things up: one of the shots showed one sackboy with a grappling hook lifting another sackboy. If you react quickly enough, you might be able to save a friend who's falling. | 2010-05-10 00:13:00 Author: Sehven ![]() Posts: 2188 |

They've revealed how the grappling hook works - it can grapple sponge/cloth objects. You can retract the glove - if the object is secured, then sackboy will move toward the object (allowing bionic commando style swinging). If the object is lightweight and unsecured, it will likely be pulled toward sackboy. and yes, for sure you can grapple other sackpeople with the grappling hook. as I mentioned earlier, mutliplayer in grappling hook levels is going to be... off the "hook"? I'm just trying to grapple with the best possible pun here. oh good god Mm you are too nice gravity! http://www.meristation.com/EPORTAL_IMGS/GENERAL/juegos/PlayStation3-Plataformas/47/IMG2-cw4be3e2bb38e12/littlebigplanet2_015.jpg Gasp! I really, REALLY wanna see how gravity will work. I wonder if it would have an effect on water... But now making Mario Bros. levels wouldn't require extra boosts to jump the correct height, you could (probably) change the gravity mid-way through the level, and have everything float around like you were in space. You could stop people from jumping at all, make things fall faster or slower (I could see plenty of nice puzzles out of that), and potentially make vehicles that travel up, down, left and right control better. | 2010-05-10 00:34:00 Author: Darth ![]() Posts: 186 |

This circuit board one I still can't quite figure out. There are clearly only 5 microchips projecting boards, and you can see exactly which chips are being displayed. But they're all identical! There seems to be a mag key at the top... Does that mean the mag key counts as being part of that physical segment of the snake? The two unknown switches both seem to have inputs, but I don't see anything going into, or out of them. That bottom one is definitely a rocket-ship shape. Waait a minute... At the head of the snake there's a direct-control device. Perhaps the rocket-ship frees the item from gravity? So with a direct-control device, you could set the "up" direction simply to moving the object upwards, like in a top-down shooter? Similar to the "gyroscope"-esque object on the robot's legs in the other shots, this almost seems to be a standalone switch that doesn't necesarrily need any inputs in order to function. http://www.meristation.com/EPORTAL_IMGS/GENERAL/juegos/PlayStation3-Plataformas/47/IMG2-cw4be3e2bb30144/littlebigplanet2_013.jpg | 2010-05-10 00:38:00 Author: Teebonesy ![]() Posts: 1937 |

You could do a 2 person co op level where one person is in a large sackbot and one person in a small sackbot, so the large one can push and pull blocks around and use his weight to solve puzzles whereas the small one can fit through smaller holes and crawl under stuff. | 2010-05-10 00:40:00 Author: Asbestos101 ![]() Posts: 1114 |
This one just begs to be broken down: http://www.meristation.com/EPORTAL_IMGS/GENERAL/juegos/PlayStation3-Plataformas/47/IMG2-cw4be3e2bb30144/littlebigplanet2_013.jpg That's a much better view than the earlier pic. Looks to be a flying caterpillar. Seems the microchips are fairly simple, containing a mag key and two un-identified objects. I'm still of the opinion that the spaceship looking one (the one on the bottom) grants the object flight abilities. The other one, with the arrows... that one I'm not so sure about, but I'm guessing the arrows have something to do with directional movement. Perhaps it's akin to attaching something to a cornerstone piston rig, so that it has up/down/left/right movement. I'm going to guess that the caterpillar is rigged to move in a sort of slithering motion and that the arrow objects control that. [EDIT] This thread updates WAY too fast. By the time I finish typing something, there's already been five or six posts. Anyway, looks like T-Bone came to the same conclusion about the spacship object that I did. I imagine that whether a microchip projects its circuit board or not it toggle-able, so only those specific ones have been set to project. This circuit board one I still can't quite figure out. There are clearly only 5 microchips projecting boards, and you can see exactly which chips are being displayed. But they're all identical! There seems to be a mag key at the top... Does that mean the mag key counts as being part of that physical segment of the snake? I believe that's exactly what it means. Looks like all switches/objects (mag keys/switches, emitters, water switches, maybe even sound objects) can be put into a microchip. | 2010-05-10 00:40:00 Author: Sehven ![]() Posts: 2188 |

I'm hoping for certain levels to have the option of letting different players go to different parts of the level, no matter how far away. Easy enough with online. For the same system, they'd need a split-screen system, though. | 2010-05-10 00:44:00 Author: Darth ![]() Posts: 186 |

That's a much better view than the earlier pic. Yep, I think you're right about the rocket-ship switch. I think it just assigns a "floating" or "flying" quality to whatever object it's on. Needs no inputs to work. That middle one is definitely a bit trickier... Those look like sideways "F"s on it, but that might just be a coincidence. The other black part looks like a cut-off USB logo, but that doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, so I'm just going to put that aside for now. You may be onto something - it might just have to do with how an object interacts physically with objects attached to it. Perhaps you can tweak this device's settings to different types of relationships. Either way, it also, like the flight switch, doesn't seem to require any inputs or outputs. It just works as soon as you stick it onto something. Unless, perhaps, this creator is only just beginning to put this snake together, but I don't know, it looks like it's floating along quite handsomely to me. | 2010-05-10 00:46:00 Author: Teebonesy ![]() Posts: 1937 |

Basically, how I'm thinking Sackbots COULD work is that, in addition to basic AI types (follow/ ignore), it could "record". Like you activate a sackbot control thing, and then record various movements by playing in some record mode or whatever. So, say, you want to have the princess jump up and down in joy when you rescue her, like in that old LBP trailer that made me think something like Sackbots were in LBP in the first place... Anyway, as I was saying, you would choose record, and press X a few times, and then the sackbot has your memorization. Course that doesn't take into account what could happen, like a block in the way... I unno, will be interesting to see how MM fits this into the whole complexity in simplicity thing, and not just do all the work for you, if you get what I mean. Just what I was thinking. ... We need a new forum section for LBP2. Hm, it'll be fun! It'd be like old LBPC all over again! Only completely and utterly different! | 2010-05-10 00:48:00 Author: RockSauron ![]() Posts: 10882 |
Looks like confirmation of my theory that microchips' projection is toggleable. Also, shows the option to make something remote controllable via color. Not sure what that's about. So a red remote control (would that be a direct control seat then or is there maybe a remote control object that's separate?) could control a red remote controllable object, perhaps? http://www.meristation.com/EPORTAL_IMGS/GENERAL/juegos/PlayStation3-Plataformas/47/IMG2-cw4be3e2bb25924/littlebigplanet2_012.jpg | 2010-05-10 00:51:00 Author: Sehven ![]() Posts: 2188 |

Find the remote seat that's red, activate it, and then you're remotely in control of the "red' sackbot, who may be all the way across the stage. Suggesting to me that there are separate "direct control SEATS" and "direct control DEVICES". Or maybe one can double as both if you turn "remote control" off. OR, rather than have a seat that remotely controls the sackbot, maybe you can attach another matching-color remote device to any kind of input. So if you hit a button, bam, you're controlling a remote sackbot. Or if you grab a grab switch, bam, remote sackbot. etc. But wait, then you could attach it directly to the original control device without having to have the matching color. Okay, there are a ton of possibilities, but it seems safe to assume that you can match a "remote control" with the actual bot being controlled, so you don't have to "climb in" in order to pilot it. | 2010-05-10 00:54:00 Author: Teebonesy ![]() Posts: 1937 |

dissolve for permenant switch purposes, and winches for set-reset switches. Ah. I'm not sure how logic is going to work on circuit boards. Like I don't know if we'll need moving parts and dissolve any more. With any luck, Mm will have p-switch objects and AND switch objects, etc. That way each one will only take up one little bit of thermo instead of having to use two mag keys, one switch and three blocks of material (unless you're Rtm and you manage to squeeze a super-computer into two wooden blocks and a winch). | 2010-05-10 00:59:00 Author: Sehven ![]() Posts: 2188 |

There's all sorts of really cool looking circuitry materials being used in the actual levels. I saw those, but I think it's just a material like any other... just that it looks like circuitry. Which is awesome! I'm loving the idea of remote controlled sackbots. Kiminski's next Tomb Raider level could have you playing AS Lara Cloth instead of your sackboy. In addition to unique looks, it seems you can give the bots unique abilities, such as higher jumping (Mm said something about replicating a jump from a yoshi game or something), and I'm hoping we'll be able to mount weapons or other devices directly onto the sackbot with mappable controls. Maybe you could play as what looks like a regular sackboy but when you hit the Triangle button, he'll throw a punch or kick. | 2010-05-10 01:04:00 Author: Sehven ![]() Posts: 2188 |

MM already mentioned the original LBP game engine has much more flexible camera control than is actually available. e.g. they mention a first-person view in their debug version, but it's never been released to the community. So this is quite possibly an example of exposing this camera flexibility to the creator in LBP2. | 2010-05-10 01:10:00 Author: Aya042 ![]() Posts: 2870 |

I think Aya had it right with the space invaders clone there. I think it's all camera control. We've probably got way more camera control now to do this sort of stuff. So within one shooting level you can transition from an R-type style of side-scrolling shooter to a 1942-type top-down simply by rotating the camera and changing your background. It's still looking to me like a true "top-down" camera is probably not possible - instead you're going to have to make your character "gravity-free", with full directional control, and create your own "ground" backdrop. So if you want a top-down view of a sackboy, you may just have to do it yourself. If the camera is free enough to look directly down on a sackboy, that's only going to give you 3 layers wide of movement, so it still seems the better way would be to treat the background as "the ground" and make a gravity-free control mechanism in order to move around it. but they may still have some tricks up their sleeve. At this point I'm expecting it to be pretty much what I described - a sort of "faux" top-down camera. | 2010-05-10 01:17:00 Author: Teebonesy ![]() Posts: 1937 |

I think Aya had it right with the space invaders clone there. I think it's all camera control. FWIW, here's quote from the (now 18-month-old) article on IGN (http://uk.ps3.ign.com/articles/940/940711p3.html)... IGN: Going back to the updates to the title ? having seen the gun, it seems that so much is possible. There was talk ? although it was tongue-in-cheek ? of first person LittleBigPlanet. How far can you take the concept? David Smith: There's a certain point where we'd want to stop transforming it, there's definitely some underlying rules that we wouldn't want to violate, but from there who knows? There's nothing off the table, so something as mad as a first person viewpoint ? if you think of the way you create environments, that's a radical change. But if it's something that the community wanted, we'd totally listen to that. At the moment there's so much crazy stuff that we could do within this 2.5D context, we'd like to milk that more. At this point in the interview, Alex gets up from his seat and walks to the other side of the room, leaving us feeling rather nervous. We've had some bad interviews before, but never had anyone walk out on us. He spends the next few minutes tinkering with the debug PlayStation 3 in the corner of the room. [...] It appears we haven't lost him after all; having toyed with the camera in the debug mode of LittleBigPlanet, Alex gives us a taste of first person LittleBigPlanet, and it looks amazing. Alex Evans: There's no reason why features like this could never make it. The next few minutes are spent playing through part of a level from this new perspective and a few others as well, as we're witness to a Gears of War style third person view. Though the 2.5D levels of LittleBigPlanet understandably mean a first person mode is, for now, something of an eccentric proposition, it goes to show the versatility of the engine, and indeed the team at Media Molecule. ...so they've clearly had very sophisticated camera controls in the game engine for quite a while. | 2010-05-10 01:39:00 Author: Aya042 ![]() Posts: 2870 |

Thanks for posting that - I did read that article back when it came out, and it's always been on my mind while playing - not always so much from a gameplay standpoint, but from a storytelling standpoint. Being able to put the camera anywhere would make for a much more cinematic experience. It seems a lot more fresh and whimsical than the first. Sackbots and Direct Control Seats sound epic, but I can't seem to figure out how something like an RTS, RPG, or fighting game could work. We'll just have to wait and see. Also, this might sound wierd, but I don't think there will be a beta for LBP2. I mean, they already have the online down (for the most part) and the majority of the tools are from the original game, just improved upon. The only thing I see here which might need to be tested accurately would be Sackbot AI. Even that could be handled by their expansive QA Team at Sony. | 2010-05-10 02:23:00 Author: Sack-Jake ![]() Posts: 1153 |
Haha, good one! @ kevinexpress [/pinkpantherimitation] Also, I call dibs on 500th beta code! ... Pwease? too late. i already called dibs on ALL the beta codes. MWAH HAH HAH HAH HAH. in seriousness, this is pretty exciting. It's like Christmas in May or something like that. Except I don't have off of work. And there's no tree. But other than that it's exactly the same. | 2010-05-10 02:24:00 Author: xkappax ![]() Posts: 2569 |

Really good question. This site is about to get a lot more confusing. I think it would be a LBP1 sub-forum, right? | 2010-05-10 02:27:00 Author: warlord_evil ![]() Posts: 4193 |
I hope there is a beta. If it's an open beta, then all the better. If not, I hope I manage to get a code. | 2010-05-10 02:28:00 Author: Darth ![]() Posts: 186 |
i agree with dramon... i know it may seem stupid to some, and some just want to test it to goof off and have fun.... but i just want to be apart of it because it's a once in a lifetime experience, you can keep ur silly vests, bug blasters and anything else beta testing brings u, i want to feel what it's like to be semi importtant, Lbp is my life, and i want to make it complete... So Spaff, if u read this... please think of us! ------------------ Okay, enough spilling my soul(s) I need to know something! Hazards?! Is ice making it's return or not? and and what about the pods? i'd like to see a screen of that! And more importantly, the control panel overide thing, i think that it makes it stop with a key... like an EMP but with a key! or maybe a popit overirde! like, only a sackboy with a blue popit can control one, cuz if u look at it's eyes, it has pink, and that could mean pink popits only! could make it useful for battle arenas! another thing. gravity?! sweet, that's just awesome! thanx guys, i can just see it now, making 30 or 40 sackbots, then making em float around freaking out, then taking that fly tihng and BLASTING THEM! PEW PEW PEW! | 2010-05-10 02:29:00 Author: Joshofsouls ![]() Posts: 1569 |
i want to has betas. I dont need vests or any kind of reward. i want to make it a better experience for everyone. this is my favorite passtime, and i want it to turn out good. | 2010-05-10 02:32:00 Author: poorjack ![]() Posts: 1806 |

Josh, please stop posting just to beg for a beta invite. We're not even sure of any beta's existence at this point, and it's technically off topic. | 2010-05-10 02:38:00 Author: comphermc ![]() Posts: 5338 |

hey, i'm sorry, i'm not begging. If there is a beta, and i happen to miss out because of my luck, that would end it... i'd just quit, and i clearly posted questions so no, it's not off topic, the whole thing was about lbp2 right? so, in fact posting a simple thing like mentioning i want to be in a beta for the game LBP2 is on topic. the thread doesn't say POST INFO ABOUT LBP2, it says "Little Big Planet 2 featured in game informer june issue" So please do not say i'm going off topic, when i am talking about the game... I'm sorry if that makes you mad, but i feel like it's wrong... | 2010-05-10 02:44:00 Author: Joshofsouls ![]() Posts: 1569 |
This. is epic. win. Period. If tmicrosoft thinks any of their new games like project natal or halo reach will beat this. They just got thier tooshies kicked. Big time. (not a fanboy comment,! i have both PS3, and XBOX360) | 2010-05-10 02:45:00 Author: grayspence ![]() Posts: 1990 |
@josh: comph is just trying to minimize the beta begging until it's time for the actual beta, assuming there is one. We all realize you want to be in the beta, we all do, believe me, me included. But nothing has even been announced yet. Just wait and there will probably be sign ups. If it means anything, I have rotten beta key luck, too. I signed up on like 3 sites for the mod nation racers beta and didn't get in. One of my friends actually ended up giving me a key, but if it weren't for that, I wouldn't have gotten in. ![]() And beta testing isn't all fun and games. It's a lot of work if you want to be a valuable member of the beta testing team. Anyway, be patient. If a beta is going to happen, mm will let us all know in due time. | 2010-05-10 02:47:00 Author: xkappax ![]() Posts: 2569 |

Yes, kappa i realised that, but you notice that NO ONE ELSE who mentioned it was in that post? I feel like i shouldn't have to shut my mouth about it. i mean, if i wanted to beg, i'd do it... if comph woulda said anyone elses names, i probably wouldn't have been so mad, but really? Nah man, i'm taking a break... I don't think so much of your life should depend on playing the beta form of a video game, dude. Methinks the better question is when do we get an LBP1 subforum. ![]() Indeed. I was just chatting with comph about this, and it would seem reasonable to assume that, on the day that LBP2 is released, it's quite likely that most of the LBPC community will buy it, so the main focus of the LBPC forums would suddenly shift from LBP1 to LBP2 almost overnight, and LBP1 would very quickly become the minority interest. Until then, it's reasonable to leave LBP2 as the minority interest, so "LBP2 subforum" will likely be more accurate until the game's release. | 2010-05-10 03:02:00 Author: Aya042 ![]() Posts: 2870 |
