Ehkehkehkehkeh.

EDIT: Do we call dibs on future mafia-games? If so, then I call dibs to hold the next one, unless someone else has a really cool idea or something...

Oh...

Well played mafiosos.

When did Craig trade?
Also, the "Sheriff clues" were possibly too vague.
E.g. I asked about FreeAim:
RIDDLE: A clown at a party talking to 7 year olds scared of clowns. One of those (kid or clown) is FreeAim. It is up to you.

If the mafia hadn't won today i was planning on revealing my role and the clues simply for help.
Heck I'll post the others anyway.

Ryan
RIDDLE: Not a villain, but is.

This seemed to me like he was the trader, though the bartender makes sense in hindsight.

Ali_Star
RIDDLE: Scared but brilliant at night. Swift upon to help, but not.
Huh?

GDN (asked on the first night)
RIDDLE: For the free, he causes. For the free, he remains significant

This is the only one I got. The doctor.

Oh and I was asking about Craig.

So I actually asked about the right people at least.

Again, well played mafia.

You were supposed to compare the riddle to the situation in game. The one about me was simple to my eyes. The children scared of the clown were the civilians and the clown was the mafioso. The mafioso was basing his faith upon the fear of the civilians and hereby attempting to manipulate them. That's the way I see it. I too would like to get what some of those meant.

Anyway, there are some important matters to discuss here as well. Such as the mafiosi owning the civvies.

Craig traded right before butter was killed.

So, Jedi - when you investigated you only got clues, and wasn't informed of their actual role? Interesting.

Anyway, we got you good. You managed to take out one of us through blind luck! A 2nd easy mafioso win for me. Congrats to my fellow mafioso. FreeAim with his strange sense of humour and his mega posts, Craigy for using his role wisely, and finally amoney who never actually turned up in our mafia chat.

Yes, this is true. Burn told me specifically to just give clues.

Yea, just the riddles.i guess prev Sheriffs have been killed or inactive. I'm just annoyed I couldn't solve them and help the civilians more.

And Craig, that was a good switch.

Fair enough. In the first game I got an outright answer. Though the only person I was able to investigate was Kato and he turned out the be the serial killer. Unfortunately I died that night.

I effing knew Craigmond was mafia! The way FreeAim defended him, I should've realized he was too.

I was killed right after I accused him, you fools! How did that not raise a single eyebrow? If Craig was a civ, they'd have just let me live so I could get him killed in the next day.

FreeAim deserves a round of applause, he completely fooled me (and everyone else, I bet).

You have to admit, it was pretty amazing how we managed to get everyone' suspicions off Craigy, onto Butters within the space of a few hours, get Butters lynched, then Craigy used his ability to make you all think he was mafia. It was poetry in motion. Much of this is down to FreeAim, if there was an award for player of the game, he'd win it hands down!

Wait, Craid switched after Butter was lynched?
Surely he'd be switching his role to "dead"?

I think he switched it before the lynch was confirmed, before the day was over.

He did it literally ten minutes before the night started.

I really do feel sorry for Dawn and Burn, though. While there may have not been the most posting and it may not have lasted the longest time, to me, at least, this was an extremely fun game to play.

I would also give round of applause to amoney and Craigmond for getting GDN killed. If it was for me, the mafia would've went for Snipy that night and I am assuming he would've been saved by GDN. Also, the trader's role really did the trick. It was a very fun role and Craigmond did the best anyone could with it. The best part of this game, for me, was the night-long strategic discussions or simply fooling around the mafia chat with Craig, Burn (during the first day), Ali and sometimes even Jar (though that only applies to the fooling around part.)

Also, Ali played wonderfully and created distance between us perfectly. He was sort of the voice of reason in my head at times. If it was for someone else, I'm sure the relation between us two during the game would've been noticed eventually. Considering how much time we spent creating strategies together, that would've not been a surprise. It was really teamwork and the combination of several different play-styles that made the mafia succeed here.

Though I don't feel bad for all the compliments.

Yeah, mafia discussions are great!
Maybe next game there could be vigilantes, 2 or 3 civilians with their own chat and a number of kills between them?
Just an idea I just thought up.

Ali and Free both played brilliantly. I only really investigated them because they were posting. Practically no suspicion on them whatsoever.

I don't think Craig's getting all the admiration he should, though. He was playing with a brand new, difficult role than what has been in this game ever before (at least here in LBPC). Though we did help him at times, it was up to him to do all the action. We could really only throw suggestions at him. It was thanks to his co-operation that we could get away with brutally slaying Butter and he worked perfectly as a scapegoat for Snipy's and Butter's attention that day.

Also, Amoney, our silent hero did participate in the game enough to correct one of my mistakes which could've cost the mafia the game. Just saying.

Notice how both of your killers during the last night were mafiosi? Everybody did trust you, heh.

By the way, check out the new forum game thread: LBPC Mafia: Blood and Ice-cream! I will be holding sign-ups up for at least a few days, so you have plenty of time to join.

I thought I would be lynched that round too, which is why I kept a low profile to take attention off of me.

But very well done my mafia buddies who were amazing, all of you

Freeaim and Ali were especially amazing, so well done there They helped to make the victory all the sweeter, there were genuinely points when reading their posts that I began to think of them as civilians. Amoney, very well done to you too, you did a good job at staying under the radar. I feel sorry for Burn who didn't really get to join in as much as the rest of us, but for the time he was with us, he was great He still had all the good old fashioned mafia fun

I can't take full credit for the use of my role as it was a collective idea from us, but I'm glad it worked and the 'mafia scum'

On a side note well done to Snipy especially who played a blinder, until we thought he had said too much Well done to everyone else too

I think the civilians got way too complacent in the last few rounds. Shouldn't have let the guard down, especially with the possibility of Butter or Burn being victims of the trader.2013-09-08 14:56:00

If people had that much faith in my judgement, they'd have helped me kill Craig. And ironically Craig would have been revealed as innocent afterwards, so they would lose some degree of faith in me, at least until the game ended.

This trader role can really cause a huge amount of damage. If you are going to include it in the next game I'd recommend you decrease the number of mafiosos by one, or otherwise it's just too easy to cause misdirection.

Well, it sort of depends on how many people actually join the game. I'll go with 16 if I have to, but I'm really hoping for 18. However, 20 or 22 wouldn't hurt either...
