Your obviously not reading my posts. MC Admin wasn't letting me look at his IP. It would not let me check his but I could check everyone elses, what can I do?

Shut down the server, something was up.

Whether I shut it down or kept it up someone would find a reason that it was my fault. I've dealt with people like this before and there isn't really anything you can do but fight fire with fire and I'm not that computer savvy to be able to find his IP somehow.		2011-01-05 06:14:00

No did I say I've dealt with them on Minecraft or are you just assuming? I've had Xbox Live for a few years and there used to be one dude that would be able to steal accounts like it was nothing, take the credit card, change the name to I Am God and varieties like that, and he did this to like 200+ accounts on xbox live. One of the best hackers I had ever seen, what I mean is there really isn't anything you can do to beat these guys except let them do what they want.

And it wouldn't let me ban him how many times do I have to tell you the same thing? It would do nothing when I typed it in. It would just tell me the user could not be found, and trust me I made sure I spelled it right everytime.		2011-01-05 06:17:00

1. Make the server private. Only let people we know join.
2. Someone seems suspicious, we investigate them, follow them around. If we still think they are suspicious, we kick them.
3. If someone starts flying, ban them!
4. Have someone with a computer that can run monsters

Personally, I think we need to restart. Maybe become a building server?

Apparently, Whaaaaale had the server on some list, so people could join. Someone joined, and turns out he could fly. He started insulting Spider_Jew for being a Jew, but then acted like he was just kidding. I gave him some torches, turns out he was building a JEW sign on some land Spider_Jew was building on (was night, I'm tired, so I didn't realize. Sorry Spider!). Inanimacy started insulting the hacker, and telling Whaaaaale to ban him. The server went down suddenly, and here we are.		2011-01-05 06:22:00

Yeah exactly, and once I did start seeing that Jew sign I minimized Minecraft and went to MCAdmin and looked up his ip but it would just pretend I wasn't doing anything, I tried checking Spiders and Clays and it would work fine, tried his again and nothing... so I hit "help" found out how to ban and tried that, told me "user was not found" then I see that everyone just got disconnected and here we are.

I didn't see him writing the word Jew till the very last minute. I was working on my house and I turned around and Spider said "Why is he writing jew" So I went to check and saw that, and I tried banning him. That's the first thing to do right? And then he shut the server down. It was all in like 30 seconds dude, like you act like it happened in a span of 30 minutes.		2011-01-05 06:38:00

Yup. I change it and save it, I even manually save it by holding ctrl and clicking save. Then I close MC Edit and reopen it and it's back to it's original spot. Is there a certain amount of space needed for the spawn?		2011-01-05 20:21:00

Ok so I was able to change the spawn, but I can't get it to spawn you inside a medium sized room. The spawn is inside but it spawns me outside. And it's random everytime, anyway I can get it to be more focused?		2011-01-05 21:14:00

Not true, as long as there are 2 (Might of been 3 or 4) open spaces above it, it can be there.
My spawn on my server is in a flying spaceship-like thing, and there is a roof above it.
EDIT: Actually on rare occasion, instead of spawning at the spawn spot, people sometimes do spawn on the ground far below or ontop of the spaceship-like thing. But about 95% of the time they spawn at the right spot.		2011-01-06 08:29:00

This is both a SP and MP world. I started it on SP. I got bored, moved the world files and started playing with my brother. But my server is crap and crashes after about 40mins of playing for some reason :l

Here's what happened:

Me and Spider were about to go see the progress on Inanimacy's head, when we noticed Whaaaale was putting redstone on the floor, and was ignoring us. I was suspicious, but the others said he just didn't want to talk. So, we went and checked out Inanimacy's head, was pretty cool. I decided to go check on Whaaaale. On the way to him, I discovered someone had spammed lava in a lake near the spawn. I confronted Whaaaale about this, and he tried to run away. But due to my 1337 MineCraft parkour skillz, he didn't get away. He blurted something in German, which SpiderJew and Inanimacy said meant blood thirst. I chased him around Sage's island until he killed himself (and thus causing me to kill myself to keep up with him). He then ran off to dasbas's lighthouse. When he arrived, his name vanished. I ran in and looked up, imagining he was going up the spiral staircase....but he wasn't. I looked around when I noticed his name on the other side of the wall! Because I'm a ninja, I caught up to him. He blurted some more german, and kicked me, Inanimacy, and SpiderJew out of the server. I rejoined quickly and continued my chase, when he suddenly teleported. I'm pretty sure he didn't teleport to SpiderJew and Inanimacy, and the spawn was in sight, so he didn't go there. I told everybody to regroup at our city.
It was then that Inanimacy stopped moving. Later on he started acting just like Whaaaale, but if you read an earlier post you will know he's just playing along.
From here, I can't quite remember what happened. There was a bunch of waiting around, changing the text on my farm's sign, suicides, when Spider discovered he had written SONSHI in redstone. We're not quite sure what this means, but we suspect it is either a name or something to do with Sun Tzu. Anyways, we discover a forest is on fire thanks to either Whaaaale or Inanimacy spamming lava in it, and from there both Whaaaale and Inanimacy reconnect.
Now, I'm pretty sure Inanimacy said he stopped playing at that point, and I remember seeing him later on. So I imagine he's just lieing.
Anyways, next time we see Whaaaale he is trying to trap me in obsidian (but I'm a ninja, so he failed), and I discover he is dressed as Herobrine. Inanimacy is just walking around, acting like he owns the place. SpiderJew is scared stuffingless, and I'm paranoid as heck. Whaaaale continues to blurt German, except hes saying Todes Sonshi (Death Sonshi in German, according to Google Translate), which causes me to respond 'DEATH TO WAR (due to Sun Tzu writing the Art of War) humorously. Some more chasing goes down, except in the forest fire, and this time SpiderJew is actually with me. I notice Inanimacy is under his head, just standing there.
Eventually we arrive to a sort of obsidian 'bridge' in a lake. Whaaaale just runs around this and heads back into the fire, causing SpiderJew to be lost.
Eventually, I chased him down to Inanimacy's head, which I discovered is full of lava. When I try to kill him, Whaaaale admits that it was all a prank. When I told him about the chasing, lightstone spammed in a cave (not mentioned above. Just me chasing Whaaaale as he ran through a cave as he spammed lightstone), the teleportation, etc. Whaaaale claimed he didn't do it, which I don't believe.

UNSOLVED MYSTERIES:

1. Before all that happened, SpiderJew and Inanimacy said they saw my sister in a boat. I checked and her computer was shut down. When we were walking to Inanimacy's head the first time, the boat was docked.
2. What does SONSHI mean?
3. How was Inanimacy there after he claimed he wasn't? Whaaaale (when he admitted it was all a prank) said he wasn't there, and that !who was broken and displaying people that were there hours ago, but mine seemed to be working and said that me, SpiderJew, Whaaaale, and Inanimacy were there.
4. Why is Whaaaale such a fail troll?

P.S. Whaaaale's post about me and Spider destroying the server is bull. The first image's chat is edited, and Inanimacy wasn't there. In the second image, I never recall SpiderJew saying nice. Third, Inanimacy wasn't there again. He may have rejoined after I left I guess though.

There was no way we could've done some of the things, like spam obsidian or lightstone (can't access the Nether). Whaaaale had the server up the whole time, Spider said he was going to keep it up all night before this all happened.

P.S. Whaaaale's post about me and Spider destroying the server is bull. The first image's chat is edited, and Inanimacy wasn't there. In the second image, I never recall SpiderJew saying nice. Third, Inanimacy wasn't there again. He may have rejoined after I left I guess though.

There was no way we could've done some of the things, like spam obsidian or lightstone (can't access the Nether). Whaaaale had the server up the whole time, Spider said he was going to keep it up all night before this all happened.

tl;dr: Whales are jerks.

I didn't edit the chat, that's in paint. That was AFTER you got off to go to bed. I just edited some of the chat because everyone was cussing at how big the forest fire was, including me. I'll admit when I had logged in (after I changed my skin to Herobrine) I was messing around with you, but I was just as lost as you, I just followed the forest fire to the obsidian trail, I couldn't of possibly did all that in the time that you had "lost" me. There is no way. Think of it, the lava near the spawn, sage's island, the HUMONGO forest fire, and the obsidian trail, and that tree house we found, and we also found a farm near a sand desert biome a long way from our city.

I had the server shut off after I told SpiderJew that I was getting off, because you got mad at me for asking what you were building. Well I kept it on for 5-10 minutes, but I was dead tired, I turned my computer off manually (with the shut off button on the computer itself and went to bed. Watched some TV and came back on because I couldn't sleep, only to find that Spider and Inan were kicked off a server and were having fun, I then thought you guys joined another server because of what I did to clay but I guess you guys somehow got on my server? I have no idea how, and you said I was still in my Whaaaaale costume. Also lately a lot of accounts have been getting hacked, if you read it on the Minecraft forums. I honestly have no idea how the lava got there, or obsidian or any of that for that matter. I had none of it when I had gotten off either.

So basically, from what I'm getting is my server had been up the entire time, I was being suspicious for 30 minutes doing weird stuff and saying stuff in German and then I got on and you started saying "He's Herobrine" which I then quickly started to pretend I was just running around which I assume is what Herobrine would do.		2011-01-07 20:28:00

Yeah, unofrtunately you have to buy a premium account to play the version these guys are playing. (Beta)

I don't think I'm coming back to the server. Inanimacy just told me pretty much no-one likes me. So before I go, let me get your guys' facts straight.

1. Me and Whaaaale told LBD he could build his crypt, but the Tiger head would probably have to go down. HE AGREED. He can rebuild it later if he wants.
2. It is annoying when someone comes into the city, where we spent HOURS clearing land, and build a random house in the middle of it!
3. I don't act like I own the server. I just want the city to be amazing and inspiring. No-one said you guys had to help. Plus, in the rules it said to ASK people before building stuff. Before we restarted the server, me, Inaimacy, Whaaaaale, and Spider decided to have the new server be ORGANIZED and friendly, with a giant city in it.

That's exactly what I was doing. I take down buildings that are just randomly put there. I don't care if people go and build where people aren't clearing for a huge city.

And I'm going to change the rules for the city, we're doing what Spider said. It was a good idea Clay, but it's not fun when we have no idea what the purpose of the city is, and we just sit there until we understand what to build next. So what we're doing is, keeping the city, and going with the original plan, BUUUUUUT, their will be vacant lots for buildings, the building has to do something with cities. (It can't be a random deadmau5 head xD) The market and crypt are good ideas, someone can build an armory, a restaurant/bar, etc) I'll get to work on the streets and people can help.

Ah this is annoying living in Australia...it lags me like crazy

At one stage blocks i destroyed came back up cause the game couldn't register it...well hopefully it doesn't get too bad XD

If it was the one under the city, that one really is open to the public. I remember I placed a furnace next to a workbench there to quickly cook up some iron and left the furnace there in case someone else needed it.		2011-01-09 14:02:00

Gotta say, the server is much better now.

Our town is really epic, everyones doing their own thing, and, well, we have a vault where we share supplies, so you know that things are going smoothly between us.

Maybe have an idea for the voice chat. A lot of us have PS3s and maybe bluetooth headsets to go with them. Why not set up a voice chat on the PS3, that is up to 12 people. And with bluetooth, you don't need to be in the same room for it to work. Just an idea.

Also, oldage came on when everyone left and asked what he could do. I suggested the donation/request center, so he built one in the city.		2011-01-09 22:18:00

Well, Ventrilo you either use a free server, or you rent one monthly for about 6 dollars, (and unless people wanna pitch in a dollar or something a month to Whaaaale, he doesn't want to pay for a Ventrilo.) and the free server only hosts up to 8 people, and we have more than that going to the server :/

I tried setting up one last night but it didn't quite work :c

Skype doesn't host that many people too, or so I was told.

The thing is, the reason most of us want to play on Whaaales server is because of all the stuff we've made on it. Having someone else make a different server wouldn't be anywhere as good

And as Inan said, you can't have someone else host the same server, as you can't have the same saves on multiple Minecrafts without sending them to each other.		2011-01-10 01:25:00

I spent the last 27 hours (excluding breaks) making a Roman Coliseum. It's almost 50 blocks high, more than 150 blocks wide, and about 200 blocks long. I'm pretty happy, but I made it on my Singleplayer server so I can't PVP, but I can fight zombies!
