| 43 kill streak on domination today. Used nuke just before the end. I was on 4 death streak from the start. I used my M4A1 and someone elses silenced M16A4. | I got 4 Chopper Gunners so far today (eating dinner atm) but none led to a nuke. Although the last one only lasted for 10 seconds as the game ended. You spawn, run a little up, turn left scope out the other side of the map but the opposite side of yours. That's where they spawn, apparently three of them were doing the same thing, and one just was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Boom, killed 4/5 of the team. I chose to join a Mercenary Team Deathmatch game, and then it went straight into one, which was on Rust, and the gamemode said Free-for-all. At first I was like; "Dangit, I said MTDM!" But then I noticed something extremely strange when I spawned. 3 flags. I was playing Team-Free-for-all-domination. Yeah. So one guy on my team was telling another guy how his friend had glitched the game. He did. The score, no matter how high it got, stayed at the lowest bar size, like when playing a private match with unlimited score. So it went on for a while, and I got a heckovalota XP. But then, somehow, a person on our team got a nuke. (He was obviously camping, you can't run around Rust and get a Killstreak when theres 6 people out to kill you.) Then he said he would leave it for a while, but a minute later he accidentally activated it, and BOOM, the never ending match ended. Pretty messed up. | MW2 is super fun with friends. I absolutely love the co-op Special Ops with mates. Normal online is good fun too, but gets more and more competitive and difficult with each passing week since release. I've taken a break, think I might only play it with mates now as it's starting to get too frustrating, too much camping unfortunately. So if you have a knife class on, Marathon, Lightweight, and Commando/Ninja. The care package just makes you soooo much more faster, like it's almost as if you have some speed mod on or something. Trust me I played with someone doing this and I could not for the life of me snipe him, he was just moving so fast knifing everybody. Also, I'm getting annoyed at crappy games. Today was terrible. I joined several games were our team was being spawn camped, and we were on Derail. I checked the map, and our team was crammed in a corner, while the enemies were around us. Why the heck did we not spawn on the other side of the map? Then I had TONS of laggy matches, and matches were the host was switched the the person with the worst connection. And of course I had to join several matches that ended when I joined, and I lost. Oh, and I can't forget the matches that don't load. They just stay at the loading screen, then say 'Server Connection Lost' even though I could hear people talking about the game over the mic. Also, I have never been killed by a Care Package knifer, but then after reading about them from you, I got killed by several in different games. I don't get why, when there's 350k+ people online, the game struggles to find 11 people for me to play with. 2) Even when there's an even amount of people, the game often matches up the teams unevenly, for example, I played a game with 10 people in it earlier and yet the teams were 6 vs. 4. Why? 3) Balancing is a big problem. Not only does it seem to group all the highly ranked players together against the lower ranks, but many of the guns that you can only unlock when you're very high in the game are way too powerful. 4) Spawnkilling! Over and over and over again. Example; on Highrise, I was in one of the buildings and killed a guy outside, so the game respawns him behind me in the same building and he gets an easy kill for no reason. This happens a lot. Also, if the enemy has a harrier or something, then most of the time you spawn directly underneath it! I don't know if that's supposed to be so you can take it down easily, but it definitely doesn't work that way. | Yeah spawnkills gotta be the biggest flaw in the game. I can't even begin to tell you how many times some lucky *bleep* respawned behind me to kill me. And this isn't just me claiming that he respawned behind me, it shows him respawning in the freaking kill cam. One time it showed me killing him, and then him killing me, all in 1 kill cam! | I got a quick nuke earlier. Less than an hour after unlocking it this prestige. I was on skidrow, groundwar domination. I died once quite early on, then I ran around in the middle downstairs. I got out my akimbo pp2000 and killed some people hiding in the little bit by A and went left. UAV came on and there were loads of people over on my left (Were you can climb up on the boxes). I ran out and got a triple kill, earning harriers. They got a triple kill then raped everyone. I got in my chopper gunner, not sure if I was protected. I shot two people running round to where I was, then got the rest really quickly due to unfair spawning. Got nuke, shot a few more people then chopper gunner ended. | There might be a problem with your connection? It seriously takes me about 5 seconds to find a match. Sometimes as soon as I hit Find Game, I'm taken into a match. The problem isn't the amount of time it takes to find a match. I get in games as easy as you. There is the possibility that the team of six are in a party, thus they can never be regrouped with others. Though it's possible that it just unbalances the team. Again, the problem isn't the amount of time it takes to find a match, it's that the teams are almost always unbalanced. Also, I play Mercenary TDM, where you can't join in a party or clan, so it can't be that they are in a party. Again with answer number 2. Also I do agree with the weapon thing but the players have to be rewarded somehow for achieving such high levels right? Plus it's not like you can't pick up their weapons. I know, and agree. It just annoys me when people who are obviously good at the game use blatantly overpowered weapons (I'm looking at you; Model 1887's). I feel that I'm good enough so that when I play against lower ranked people I don't use the most powerful weapons. That's how people should play, in my opinion (but I know I'm in the minority). This I have to agree with, the spawns are pretty bad in TDM though. If you play objective games like CTF or Domination, or Demolition, they'll always spawn next to what they're attacking/defending, 99% of the time. The spawns just suck. The amount of times a good killstreak has been messed up because of an enemy spawning behind me is ridiculous. 'nuff said. yeah the game finding is something with your connection. may I know what everyone's NAT status is? (especially from alex) Mine is open, and it always has been. Never has it been Moderate/Strict. I was scared I was going to die, my team was far away, and I couldn't find anyone to kill. But after a bit of time freaking out, I finally found a guy, sniped him, and then BOOM! nuke. | Mw2 isn't too bad. I picked it up about 2 weeks ago. I've been at level 70 for a while, I don't care enough to prestige. I hacked the offline splitscreen to get to 10th Prestige level 70 but I'm not game enough to do it online, don't wanna get banned. Not sure why but I've played this a hell of alot and have yet to see a nuke get used. I've seen players with the Nuke emblem but never seen any use one. | Cage matches only go to 20 kills, so you cant get a nuke. I have played for over 80 hours and have only been nuked by enemies once. Nukes are not too common, unless you are me. | bought MW2 on sunday, multiplayers kinda easy, i reached lvl 30 in 2 days. not to mention i got my first EMP which took a while, i havent seen a Tactical Nuke yet, probably cause i spoil everybodys killstreaks and shoot down their harriers and UAVs, i love spoiling the fun for everybody, but the EMP didnt really do anything, just got rid of their laser sights and all the other useless crap. man i love care packages, if im lucky one of them will be a Tactical Nuke, but thats highly improbable. i was playing capture the flag on rust in 3rd person Tactical, i captured the flag like 10 times for my team and my buddy had a huge killstreak, but i dont know why he didnt use the Tactical Nuke he had like 70 kills. level 30 in 2 days? so you played the game 16 houres strayed and then sleap and then 16 houres strayed ? my friend had a comment every time he nuked and ended the game it never said he was playing cage match. he probably did them on free-for-all nuke in Free-For-all? you could only do that by camping and nuke boosting are by somthing secret | 2010-01-01 15:33:00 Author: Unknown User |
| The easiest way to get a nuke is to just set up your rewards so that they're all huge aerial attacks, so just get like 5 kills and then hide and they'll just rack up and you'll get a nuke. I would know because every like 5 games someone just gets an attack helicopter then an AC-130 that annhilates us for a bit then we get blown to bits by a nuke. It seems that even if I turn my back for a second to destroy the helicopter someone with commando runs by and stabs me with a tactical knife. | After my friend stole my nuke (remember the story? if you don't: long story short is he got a nuke before me in a game were I was on a 22 kill streak, meaning I only needed 2 as I use hardline.), I haven't got a nuke since. I have gotten about at least ten 20+ killstreaks but no nuke, and now everytime I get an AC130 or Chopper Gunner, I get it in a map where everyone can easily hide in a building, and they do (my teammates are always too dumb to listen to me screaming where the enemy is and kill them). In my last game (of the last time I played) my harrier went on a rampage, and it was near the end of the game. It was clearly past 10 kills, and soon clearly past 15, but where is my AC130 announcement? No where to be found. I could have got a nuke there if they just gave me the time, and my well earned AC130. Sure I had gotten a 19 kill streak earlier in the same game, but that's no reason to rob me of this kill streak as well (I got out of my AC130 with the whole team in the building I had planted it in the first time) which would have been much larger!
