Open that up with something like paint.net, which is free forever, and erase everything to make it clear. Thats what Ive done on multiple occasions. My only real problem with real life is that you can't get materials easily (i.e. punching a tree), and that sleeping on a bed doesn't instantly raise the sun. | Hey, I know I'm replying to an off-topic 2-pages ago post, but I one read a book in french about a guy who finds time-travelling shoes. And hum, on what server are you guys playing ? I only joined two servers, one on which I had a bad time because of bad moderators - one just cut-pasted my house 2 blocks over the floor (thank you, now I have to flatten all the ground) and over an underground farm (thanks, now I can't have an underground). And the other server I know isn't in my country so there's almost nobody when I'm on. I like building stuff and collecting ressources, I never played in PvP, I can fight monsters but I'm scared of endermen. I have minecraft since 1.8 beta. All of this stuff is 100% legit except for the terrain under the castle in which I used world edit to form. Here is a giant human body I made most recently. It's a chocobo mod, Recently updated with those models, and some...interesting bugs. I love chocobos, and ever since I started getting into mods, it's always been my dream to ride on in minecraft. The best part is, they have the same breeding habits as in the games, so I Can get gold, blue, red, pink, black, white, and NETHER chocobos, all with different skills, and speeds. I'm very into "adventure enhancing" mods, so chocobos were a must have. Those poor squids. Oh, don't worry about them, The tornado raged on for a good 8 minutes, and broke up over the ocean, they landed safely in the water. | nope. just a new: Map with borders. check the dynmap and look at the test to get an idea. I have no specific seed in mind, but if you have an epic one to try lemme know and we'll get it goin. MMo plugin, by the name of Heroes! it has a ton of neat features, but it seems as tho some are aimed solely at pvp. Clerics heal warriors bash things while wearing heavy armor rogues are sneaky little gits. i'm thinking they wear leather, but iunno for certain wizards are squishy but can cast spells. I'm betting they are either wearing leather or nekkid. >.> Admins can do it all, like bosses, no less. I already got myself hugged by creepers twice, so aside from the being able to use any spell/skill and wearing any armor they still squish. classes are item specific: you cannot use heavy armor/diamond swords as a wizard, nor can you zap people as a warrior. its possible to do repairs, but i dunno what class has that one. you can have a primary and secondary job. i'm looking at extending/re-doing the class lists based upon octav's idea, or something. A working economy! all this and more.....as soon as i fix my pc. which always seems to die at the most inconvenient times.... | Sorry for the double post, but didn't want to edit this in to the post above, mostly because its on an unrelated note. So Im trying to makes a server for some doods of mine. (No plugins) So I download the thing at Minecraft.net, And run it WHA-LA. I have the server control panel at my hands. I then proceed to find the IP Adress, which does work for me but not for others. Than there this attatchment at the end (:25565) And they tried adding that but still didnt work. THEN we found another IP (DHCP Server IP) Which, when he tried to join with the regular IP and the :25565 attatchment, almost worked, but said "connection refused." | Sorry for the double post, but didn't want to edit this in to the post above, mostly because its on an unrelated note. So Im trying to makes a server for some doods of mine. (No plugins) So I download the thing at Minecraft.net, And run it WHA-LA. I have the server control panel at my hands. I then proceed to find the IP Adress, which does work for me but not for others. Than there this attatchment at the end (:25565) And they tried adding that but still didnt work. THEN we found another IP (DHCP Server IP) Which, when he tried to join with the regular IP and the :25565 attatchment, almost worked, but said "connection refused." How can I get other people to join? Did you remember to Port Forward? Did you set up your static IP? Does it say anything in the Server Log about the server not being able to catch up? | Port Forwarding (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_forwarding) and Static IP (http://searchwindevelopment.techtarget.com/definition/static-IP-address-dynamic-IP-address)'s are necessary to run your server. :I Just do a YouTube search to figure out how. | the old one is waaaaay too big. a new map that has had all its chunks rendered with the borders will run around 100 megs before anyone starts adding stuff. our normal map runs well over 1.1 gigs by now. if i don't come home and pass right out i'll save the old world map and begin the entertaining process of setting up the new one. so...expect stuff to start acting wierd by....uh....8am (gmt-5) | 2012-04-21 02:05:00 Author: Memodrix Posts: 879 |

| So I was messing around with world rendering again... Managed this And it was actually my first try of the night... | The server has officially caused me to defecate upon the interior of my undergarments. I was going through a cave system, when I found a spider. I attacked the spider, but suddenly it dissapeared. I didnt think much of it. Later, I was going through a passage, where there were only 2 directions to go, when I found some coal. I dug the coal out, then went up and turned around, and the room behind the passage I had come through was completely filled with lava and the way into the room was sealed by iron bars. As I got really confused, and was thinking how sure I was that this was the way I had come, the bars started suddenly breaking(not dissapearing, breaking, like with the little particles coming out). Then the lava just vanished, and the room was back to the way it was when I had come through it. I pooped myself and screamed for kern, the only mod, and by the time he came, the room had filled with a layer of water, like the lava before. Whether it was kern like he said or not, random walls I had come through and floors and ceilings randomly started to cover themselves with stone, so that the passages appeared to be not there. Eventually, the water in the room turned back into lava, and is now obsidian. Also, the last haunted thing I saw, I managed to get a picture of: http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm304/Rigatopolis/alex5-22.png Moments later however, it turned back into the regular passage it had been before. What the freaking mother of holes happened in those ten minutes, I do not know. I am now afraid of the server. | Iron Bars? Stronghold? No thats what I thought too, but this was a regular cave, AND it was the passage I had just come through. And you know how sometimes you find in caves those like bigger circular rooms? Well it was one of those, and the bars were just blocking the little like 7 block entrance into this room. Which was suddenly coated in lava, which had not been there a minute previously. And I could see the passage beyond that I had come through, with my torches. And also, ill say it again, when the bars started breaking themselves, they werent disappearing like they do when theres block lag. They broke with particles, like the ones that come out when you eat food. Dunno if youve ever given it a thought, but when you break a block, little pieces of it come out and despawn. And the bars were breaking like that one by one, just as though some invisible creative person was breaking them. Kern decided to make a "Lag Intensifier" which made me lag like heck, then created a something like a 125x125 iron bar sphere in front of my house, destroying my perfect waterfall covering my house, then created a huge lava fountain, poured water on it, creating a big cobblestone tower. | Josh is a mod? ? Yep. Actually, we've been discussing his Mod Status for quite awhile. Im surprised you havent heard :o. I think the next Mods should be Whale or (Perhaps) Eoghan. Don't know if Eoghan would be suited for the job if a mod status was open, though. And why isnt Das a mod anymore? And what happened to zim?!
