What can I say? I have 33 platinums, which is quite obsessive indeed. Some were easy to get, yet some had me hurling my controller at the TV (okay, not really, but I was frustrated nonetheless).

Is it a tough plat? I just played it today for the first time.

It's without a doubt one of the hardest platinum trophies I've achieved. Lots and lots of practice is needed to get all 50 of the perfect medals, especially when you reach the later stages of the game. Since it gradually gets harder, you'll get better at the game as you go along. Plus, there aren't any massive difficulty spikes so you don't need to worry about that.

If you manage to get all 50 perfect medals, then the rest is a cake-walk. It's far from an easy platinum, but try to overcome the frustration and keep trying. 		2014-09-07 18:56:00

1CC is easily one of the toughest trophy challenges I've faced. That nail biting feeling of getting to the final boss with no lives to spare, comfortably outrunning the first 2 phases, narrowly avoiding disaster on the third, tapping boost to avoid the fourth keeping away without the boost needing too much recharge and finally the oh **** of the fifth phase turning into an oh yeah with the discovery of a safe spot.		2014-09-09 15:26:00

I crossed out every conversation as I progressed, yet I still have one missing! Looks like it's bloody glitched. Anyone else had this issue? Go through with chapter select on easy using the same save, you can knock down your playtime by skipping every part with no coversations. Maybe go backwards to be fully equipped if your previous run was.2014-11-01 17:43:00

Easiest: PSASBR or maybe Virtue's Last Reward

Easiest had to be The Walking Dead, it's a participation platinum. Second easiest Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection (AKA Sonics Ultimate Genesis Collection) there's one trophy that requires a small amount of effort and the rest are handed out for the most menial tasks in the games.

Hardest Dead Space 2 most games harder difficulties are balanced by being a series of don't mess this segment up and auto-save will sort things out but this one had a 3 save limit for the whole game meaning one mistake and you're going back hours.		2014-11-13 18:13:00

Killzone 2 was one of the hardest for me. The fight with Radec and trying to enter the fort on the hardest difficulty brought be to ****ing tears. And there's also the multiplayer stuff involving getting all the ribbons and finishing in the top 1% monthly rankings.2014-11-14 11:49:00

I'm pretty proud about my velocity ultra platinum trophy. Also, motorstorm RC.
In total I've got about 5 or 6 platinum trophies.
I have to admit though, in motorstorm RC I exploited a glitch in the pit wall (or whatever it's called), that allowed me to beat the same lap time 18 times. Really, it was impossible to beat those lap times that were on the freaking world wide top ten.		2014-11-18 22:15:00

I don't think I'm ever gonna get this %$&%^$&^% platinum for TLOU Remastered. 2 trophies left to go, one is the Firefly journey, I'm into week 8 but my internet is being an **** at the moment and I'm often struggling to connect. The other trophy is the sodding conversations trophy, which is buggier than LBP3. Decided to start a new game from scratch, so I can see each conversation register when I activate it, and then marking it off on the list I printed out (that's dedication for you), and I mean ONLY marking it off when I see that the convo has counted. Everything is going smoothly..... until I start playing today and notice I've lost 2 conversations. Now I don't know if it just "removed" the last two from when I played last night (I stopped when you first meet Henry and Sam), or 2 other random convos. Needless to say, this has me very ^%^&*%ed off.2014-12-12 22:27:00

I remember, for Prince of Persia reboot, I almost got all of the trophies. Except for that freaking combo one. you needed to do all the combos in one sitting. So I restarted the game a few times, and printed out a list of all the combos. And I did them and crossed them off. Never got it. Despite doing it five or so times. eventually I jsut sold the game and am not forever one bronze away from Platinum, Same with Darksiders and that dumb flying segment.2014-12-12 22:30:00

They ran fine as far as I could tell, I don't have any previous experiance of them for reference. Mission design felt better than absolution but I'm sure that one had a thing where you could go straight to dragging the bodies using the wire which I missed going back in the series. Also controlls are from the time frame when 3d stuff was still being figured out so it can feel awkward to go back too but thankfully shooting isn't required too much.

Deadly Premonition was a horrific pile of crap but it was a short pile of crap and didn't require much side effort to finish everything before it got removed for space for the next round of + games.

Easy > Hard > Laughably easy. It all depends on your set up, Void supported with Tap and Purge was dealing good damage and healing me at the same time and Bounce equipped passivly for the shield and whatever else you think will help.

I just need 2 more trophies for the Bloodborne plat. The chalice dungeons are super tedious.

There's been plenty of things I could have platinumed recently just nothing I've really wanted to put the extra effort in to.

Super Time Force Ultra Its just collectibles, challenges and hard mode to go when I feel like it.

Teslagrad Had my fill doubt I'll ever go back.

Broken Age seems like it would be an easy plat but I don't think I could stand going through it again.

I decided to do an end game run where all factions would remain friendly. I still need to get the darn Benevolant Leader trophy, that's it. With regards to getting all the faction trophies, it's not that difficult.

My main playthrough was to go the Minutemen route, obliterating the Institute, and keeping every else friendly, but I made a manual save before Underground Undercover (Railroad), and before Tactical Thinking (Brotherhood). Those are the points where factions become hostile. Technically, you can do around half of Underground Undercover, because that quest involves you sticking with The Institute for a bit.		2016-03-09 10:21:00

I started playng Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare a few months ago, having gotten it for free during the 2014 PSX thing. and had fun despite not being a multiplayer gamer. FINALLY killed 100 cacti, and thus got the Wheedwhacker achievement and my 45th Platinum. Now I can finally begin playing 2 whee!

How did you get the settlement trophy in the end? I still haven't bothered attempting that. I can't do it the "legitimate" way because I'm sure my save is bugged. Every time I fast travel away from a settlement, the stats appear incorrectly (eg food and beds will drop to zero, even though the actually value is much higher), and they lose happiness significantly.		2016-05-05 10:41:00

Got the Platinum on Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition. Wasn't too hard but there were a few that was a grind. Also got the Plat on Unravel. Beautiful game. If you haven't played it, do so. So that's my 7th and 8th Platinum trophies.

The no deaths trophy is by far the hardest. The two that gave me the most trouble was the one where you got swing across the acid pits, then go through the trailer of roaches then across the power lines and finally up through the gears. Once I found the "how to" on the Benevolent Leader trophy, it was really easy. I used the 1 settler, 1 turret, 1 bed method and got it in maybe 30 min. I had to give up on the Nuka World Trophies because of a glitch. The one where you have to make all the Nuka recipes. I was missing one of the recipes, the one in the Western Town on top of the theater bldg. It just was not there. Then I read online that it sometimes falls through the floor and you have to do the wall glitch to go into the sealed off building and it will be on the ground there. Nope. Then I read to fire a bunch of rockets and Nukes at the back wall and it will make it appear. Nope. So after wasting countless hours trying to make that dang book appear, I just gave up on it and then the rest too.2016-11-07 18:47:00

Yeah, I probably should've done it that way, but I had a settlement that was already at 85 happiness, so thought it'd be quicker starting there. Took hours! I basically built a lot of clinics and assigned my settlers to them, and then waited around, occasionally sleeping. Had a bit of a panic attack when it hit 99 and the arrow disappeared. Had to sell a bunch of items to make enough caps to build a clinic, and fortunately I had one more settler who wasn't assigned to one!

I've also been playing Deadly Tower of Monsters, so that'll probably be my next plat. As you say, it's a fun game. A pleasant surprise - I hadn't even heard of it before it came on ps+.		2016-11-08 09:58:00

5. Thief (PS3) 4 Bronze 5% Didn't feel like going any further.
4. Payday The Heist 3 Bronze 4% Felt too grindy and reliant on others.
3. Resident Evil. 2 Bronze 3% Better than it was but I still don't like it.
2. Super Meat Boy. 2 Bronze 2% The only one here I might go back to but I don't expect the % to move much.

4. Wipeout HD - 7 bronze, 8%. Downloaded it when they gave it away for free, wasn't really my type of game.

I never completed my first playthrough. Got to a point where I had no weapons, and nothing worth trading so just kinda gave up. I do want to go back to it at some point, any tips? (I regret not robbing that old couple :kz: )		2017-03-20 14:50:00

Start the game and after something like 7 in game days you can now make a custom game. You should be able to get some of the trophies during those 7 days, like searching the whole house, made it 3 days or something like that. After the 7-8 days, go back to main menu and see if you can choose your own story. If so, go in and set it up with Marko, Marin and a kid. 40 days, fighting is light, Winter is late, mild and short and start the game. Scour the house for materials. After my 4 or 5th playthrough, I quit making shovels until later in the game. I would loot everything but where I needed a shovel, come home, go back to that location and run straight to the pile. It takes 2 hrs to dig through.
I used Marko because he can carry the most when scavenging. Make a saw blade and crow bar as soon as you can.
At the gas station I think it was or garage, it was garage. Where the guy comes out and asks for meds for his dad. Forget that unless you just have a bunch where you can spare some. Ignore that dude, don't go past him, but go up and use a saw blade to get to the other side. You can rob them blind and they have lots of materials. I hated to, but it was them or me.
The grocery store, make sure you have a good weapon before going there. An axe works best here. If you go in, there is a soldier about to do something bad to someone. Just open the door. DO NOT RUN THROUGH THE DOOR TO OPEN IT. Walk to the door, make sure your axe is chosen, open door, then bash the enemy. Change back to scavenge mode and loot him for the rifle and 20 rounds of ammo.
After dying numerous time at the construction site, I just quit going there altogether.
Make a trap or two the first time you can. This is a great resource for food.
When Winter comes, go dig about 12 snows. It took me a while to figure this out but you have to melt the snow on the stove before you can use it as water and once winter is over, the snow is still in your inventory but you can no longer use it.

Platinum #19 The Bunker and 100% on Firewatch

The Bunker was pretty interesting. I've played a few live action interactive games before but none were done as well as this one. The acting was superb for one thing and the story kept your interest, messed up as it is. There's really no hard "puzzling" too it, just a neat little game to play.		2017-04-14 22:11:00

well I'm having a dang of a time trying to platinum Uncharted 4. I have all the single player trophies, it's those multiplayer ones. Well, just one, I've got the other ones. I have to play 5 matches to the end. My internet is subpar to say the least and I can get into a match, but it kicks me out after a couple of minutes because of latency and of course this doesn't count for the trophy. Really ticks me off that multiplayer trophies count towards the platinum.2017-06-19 18:24:00

Congrats! Beyond Two Souls and Heavy Rain are giving me grief right now. Beyond Two Souls I only have one trophy left, See all endings. I can't figure out what ending I could be missing. I have followed several guides and that trophy just will not pop.

Heavy Rain, I need that dang driving perfect trophy and I'll get all the way through the sequence and hit one of those dang cop cars. Argh!

Forma.8 - I gave up on this one. Just started getting frustrating so I had to stop.

FFIX - I didn't know I could get this on PS4. WooHoo!

FFIX get ready for the 1000 jumps trophy 8 minutes of tapping x or setting up a script on remote play and getting the latency right.

Rayman I'm already used to from playing Origins twice and Legends once before on PS3. I was even getting diamond cups on the challenges and knocked 2 months off the plat time but thats more to do with the PS+ population boost expanding the brackets.

Foul Play was a nice little beat-em-up with some good challenges to keep things interesting. Pity that local co-op was broken for the EU version so I had to use remote play as a work around.

Rocket Birds is easy and ok there wasn't much that needed effort.

I'm on Rocket Birds 2 now. Have played through all the way and enjoyed it ok. I liked the humor and it had some nice 2D scenery. I don't like that one of the trophies is to find those signs but some of the signs are placed illogically. Like in Chapter 1 when you're fighting the end boss. He jumps out of his ship and normally you'd finish him off and this starts the next chapter sequence. But if you want that sign you have to NOT shoot him, turn around and run part ways back through the level to get a sign that wasn't visible before. Only way I found it was with a guide.2018-12-19 14:51:00
