Muppets Premium Level Kit!

Dear lord getting that ONE prize bubble in the level before the boss is incredibly hard. Like seriously, I always overshoot the swing and miss it by an inch. Hell, its easier to ACE it than getting the bubbles. I found the best way to achieve this is to not adjust the grappling hook mid-swing... when I tried this with my friends I got all of the prize bubbles on the first go (as opposed to the 75% on my first try alone). I just got used to making the grappling hook's line shorter for greater momentum during levels. | 2012-01-31 14:29:00 Author: Breezy-The-Pro Posts: 134 |
So the teeth on the boss.. (how they can explode without bouncing the player) is that a fault of how the jump pad radius were originally designed, or sub-par level design? I'm guessing an impact switch on the bounce pad? (if that's possible, haven't played LBP in a while..) Man that rubble is annoying. | 2012-01-31 21:38:00 Author: midnight_heist Posts: 2513 |
So the teeth on the boss.. (how they can explode without bouncing the player) is that a fault of how the jump pad radius were originally designed, or sub-par level design? I don't think it's either. It works properly. You hit the tooth, it exploded.... but you didn't center yourself so you didn't bounce off properly. The same thing could happen if you were jumping up and down on a landmine - if you jump dead center, it will blow up and throw you up into the air (you would go up, although you would also be little chunks). If you jump on the landmine off-center, you would be blown off sideways instead of up in the air. So,if you want to blow up a tooth AND bounce up.... aim for the center. | 2012-02-02 15:04:00 Author: CCubbage Posts: 4430 |
Hmm, perhaps this is a case of "personal opinion" I hear so much about.. I feel it's a matter of feedback for the player, it shouldn't explode if you didn't hit it on the top. (which is the goal, correct?) That being said, side impacts on bouncepads shouldn't even exist in the first place. | 2012-02-02 22:19:00 Author: midnight_heist Posts: 2513 |
I don't know why, but I'm really excited about the TV static material. It's pretty limited (not even a brightness tweak available) but I still think it's neat. | 2012-02-04 14:35:00 Author: Bercilak Posts: 117 |
Hey guys, do I need to own a Move in order to play this pack entirely? | 2012-02-15 03:47:00 Author: RangerZero Posts: 3901 |
Hey guys, do I need to own a Move in order to play this pack entirely? no move required for the muppets kit! this is entirely separate and probably the best since Pirates of the Caribbean | 2012-02-15 04:22:00 Author: GribbleGrunger Posts: 3910 |
tks man, I think I am going to buy it then. | 2012-02-15 04:54:00 Author: RangerZero Posts: 3901 |
Why can't sackboy get those prize bubbles at the start of the Beaker Labs level? He can get the score bubbles up there. Prize bubbles should act like prize bubbles. It's just silly. Block sackboy's access to the prize bubbles, don't use cheat and use tags. That's just lazy gameplay design. | 2012-02-15 05:13:00 Author: midnight_heist Posts: 2513 |
I agree with GribbleGrunder. This is the best pack since the POTC. I say this because although the Move pack and the Toy Story pack were very good, they didn't add anything that was usable to the bog standards of people. Move is very good and offers a unique and new way to play Little Big Planet, but the Toy Story pack just added simple new decs, materials and other things that are very nice, but not needed. Because of this, I was reluctant to buy the Muppets pack. However, after using the Attract - O - Gel in a community level I was hooked. So, Once again, MM have created a new item that will change the game in the same way the Water item did a few years ago. Buy this pack if you can | 2012-02-15 10:11:00 Author: LittleBigSnooth Posts: 454 |
