I'm gonna do a couple of squares now I've been looking over these pics and It goes darker when Clank AND Moleynator does theirs Also, every time boomy does his it goes lighter And for the rest of us there's usually no change Guess it must be the way our computers save the files or the combination of programme we use and what site we upload them to lol See I use paint like clank but I always upload to Photobucket Maybe these differences that we are all doing are what's causing it But It shouldn't matter in the long run as we can always edit it like I did a while ago ANYWAY I'M GONNA DO 2 NOW QUICKLY AND THEN I'M GONNA GO SOOT SOME STUFF WITH A PAITINATOR EDIT: HERE ARE MY NEW 2 http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w197/dorien360/square90-91-dorien.png | 2008-12-24 01:15:00 Author: dorien Posts: 2767 |

Eh? I don't get it. Did you just copy the image into a grid? Look at the gridded one's face. | 2009-01-07 23:44:00 Author: Sage Posts: 2068 |
Look at the gridded one's face. Yeah I did notice that But did you just copy the pic into a grid and then you were just going over it bit by bit (sounds like a new age form of tracing to me CHEATER ) | 2009-01-07 23:53:00 Author: dorien Posts: 2767 |
Heehee yes I cheated. | 2009-01-08 01:15:00 Author: Sage Posts: 2068 |

Okay, here it is: http://i44.tinypic.com/2u91l3t.png Squares added at J3 and G12. I also accidentally the whole lbpcentral text at the bottom (I was hoping to change it to something funny, but I decided that it would be too time consuming). ^disregard that, I've put the text back in | 2009-01-08 23:53:00 Author: Entity Posts: 274 |
Right on pretty cool. But you should put the text back... >_< | 2009-01-08 23:58:00 Author: Sage Posts: 2068 |

I think I'll do a couple more squares. Here we go: http://i40.tinypic.com/290rnkm.png Squares added at C4 and G15. | 2009-01-13 16:52:00 Author: Entity Posts: 274 |
Can't let something this magnificent collect dust. Due to amount of new members who are good with art software it seems like a good plan. Two squares per person per try, you can try as many times as you want but not a "double go's". You cannot have two go's in a row, so not two squares then two squares, gotta let someone else have a go in between. Once you have done your go, upload it so the next guy/gal can have a go. Have fun. | 2009-03-06 17:58:00 Author: Boomy Posts: 3701 |
I'll do two squares on my lunch | 2009-03-06 19:08:00 Author: Hamsalad Posts: 2551 |

We've been doing 2 squares each for ages but it has gone a bit dead. I might try and do a couple later to get this going again. This is not me declaring I'm doing 2 so it is still open if anyone wants to go now. JUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU DECLARE ON THIS THREAD FIRST THAT YOU ARE DOING YOUR 2 AS WE DON'T WANT MORE THAN ONE PERSON AT A TIME DOING THE SAME SQUARES. Once someone declares they're doing their 2 then you have to wait till they post theirs before you start yours. You get 2 hours from when you declare your doing yours to post them on here. After that your go is invalid and people are free to declare they are having a go. Any probs take a look at the OP for the rules (but note it has changed to 2 squares from the 1 when we started) | 2009-03-06 19:09:00 Author: dorien Posts: 2767 |
How about we start afresh? That time, I'll monitor every addition to make sure the image hasn't darkened or been saved incorrectly. | 2009-03-06 19:52:00 Author: LFF Posts: 434 |
sounds good its up to you....I want to know how that guy made the building and made the stuff inside of it look like its behind glass....is it all an illusion? | 2009-03-06 20:01:00 Author: Hamsalad Posts: 2551 |
I'd prefer to carry on with this one and finish it if we can as I hate to lose work and hate things unfinished I had an idea for another one of these where everyone gets to do one square each. It is their square that will represent them on LBPC. So for example Whaaale would probably do a ........ you guessed it We could make a grid and everyone would claim their square (like G5 or A13 etc) and get to work on it so everyone could work at the same time. Just an idea, I might set one u[ later It could just be a seperate thing | 2009-03-06 21:38:00 Author: dorien Posts: 2767 |
that would be cool. everyone make something to symbolize themselves.....i see chaz must of done one on this lol | 2009-03-06 21:48:00 Author: Hamsalad Posts: 2551 |

yeah someone just did the pink bit at the top and then you finished it off | 2009-03-06 21:50:00 Author: dorien Posts: 2767 |
I could start a new spriting project after this. It's called an iso grid. It is basically a pyramid of cubes so it can have stuff going out the lines and would be more 3-D looking. For an example, google wayofthepixel | 2009-03-06 23:51:00 Author: moleynator Posts: 2914 |
i'd still like to know how the guy did the stuff through the glass window...that doesn't look like he used paint | 2009-03-07 01:16:00 Author: Hamsalad Posts: 2551 |
i'd still like to know how the guy did the stuff through the glass window...that doesn't look like he used paint All he had to do was make objects behind the window lighter in colour | 2009-03-07 06:36:00 Author: Boomy Posts: 3701 |
I could start a new spriting project after this. It's called an iso grid. It is basically a pyramid of cubes so it can have stuff going out the lines and would be more 3-D looking. For an example, google wayofthepixel I posted an example of a project like this somewhere in this thread, but there weren't any preset cubes, you just draw wherever and pretty much any size. Isometric City it was called. And the windows may have just been done by drawing everything inside norm, ally, and then going over with a blue colour with opacity set to about 30ish. | 2009-03-07 13:06:00 Author: LFF Posts: 434 |
I don't want this thread to die . If you want to start another project, maybe reduce the size to something like 10x10 squares, as there's a better chance of completing it. | 2009-03-11 01:13:00 Author: Entity Posts: 274 |
