Not sure if it's already been mentioned, but the song used in the trailer is Bust Out Brigade (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkIMS3xj8Ik), from The Go Team's new album. | 2011-07-01 18:44:00 Author: FlipMeister Posts: 631 |
hey wanted to ask this as well, on lbp2 there will be a move compattibility filter (most likeley) and for people who dont have the move it wont let them play it or, maybe not even see it, so if it includes features that lbp 2 cant use, then it will probably just... not show up! same thing for backing up and importing things to psp, it could work and graphics, are quite good this time around, and all in all, it would be stupid for it NOT to be backwards compattible, look at it like lbp 1 and lbp 2 | 2011-07-09 20:42:00 Author: dragonights Posts: 209 |
I am going to buy this the day (or week) it comes out. | 2011-07-10 01:52:00 Author: StaticLinuxpro Posts: 482 |
Small details on the Vita will be blown up to bigger proportions on your TV, showing off glaring visual errors that would be otherwise invisible on Vita due to the way engine will be optimized and rendered. To me, this signals that levels for Vita will only be editable and playable on Vita. Everything else you said I agree with, but for this bit you're thinking about it all wrong. If they were to implement a system like this, the simplest method would be to translate all the objects and materials from your Vita-made level to the corresponding LBP2 versions. The only conceivable loss in fidelity would be from objects that are exclusive to LBPV, but even then the difference wouldn't be huge. From what I've seen, LBPV has an average texture size and poly count that at least reaches half that of LBP2's. Anyway if that were the only barrier I don't think it would be a problem at all, but the other issues you and others have brought up seem fairly insurmountable for the time being. | 2011-07-11 04:06:00 Author: Unknown User |
Okay, I don't think anybody's posted these, so . . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lzeA_VsveQ&feature=fvst http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fl2CUUY6trw&feature=relmfu Piano awesome fun time! This looks like it is going to be amazing, for style and playthrough. This will probably be the second time I buy an entire console just to play LBP. | 2011-07-11 14:25:00 Author: Number7Million Posts: 248 |
you know what... LBPVita could well be actually better than the PS3 version. i've never wanted a handheld before, but now suddenly i do | 2011-07-11 19:18:00 Author: GribbleGrunger Posts: 3910 |
What I don't get is why people are saying it's graphics are not as good as the PS3 version? from the videos i've seen they look almost the same? *mew | 2011-07-11 21:42:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |

Oh, Coolz! Well. This shows the color of the LBPVita badges - Purple! Also ... Limited Edition Sticker. Either I think wecan create our own stickers and send em, OR something like a Collecters Edition is coming, and maybe a feature in the game is sticker sharing. | 2011-07-12 15:53:00 Author: pilsburydoughboy55 Posts: 236 |
Is there a source for the information in the OP? Namely the ability to play LBP2 levels? | 2011-07-13 00:19:00 Author: Alismuffin Posts: 1328 |
