| I would love to come to this thing, but all signs seem to be pointing to "no" for me. I was holding on to hope until the end, but it is looking pretty grim at this point. I'm still not doing so well after my surgery (which is ridiculous, in my opinion, since my surgery was more than a month ago) and there is a very good chance my husband might have to get surgery at the end of the month to remove his gall bladder. Needless to say, it has not been a very good couple of months in the xkappax household. They drive.... in a CIRCLE! Btw- By live streaming, can we trust it will be good streaming. I've been promised live streaming at other things before non lbp related etc, that never turned out well. Actually it usually turns out non-existant. Also, with live streaming, does that mean you have to be there to see it right there and then... or can it be seen as a video later. I doubt with time zones I'll see anything.... | I think I might be able to bring two tv's, a 32" LCD and a 50" plasma (has 3D capability). I'm not sure how the 50" would effect our space considerations, although it's really not that much bigger than my 32. Of course, with a plasma the lightening has a big effect on picture quality, so that's why it currently rests in my windowless basement. Should I even bother to bring this or just find another 32"? | Ok, so I live fairly close to St. Louis, and I'd feel bad not going, 'cause people are coming from sooooo far away and for me to not take a three hour drive is just crazy. | Hey attendees (and those anxiously watching on the sidelines)! We're working hard now to really pull this together and have been stockpiling little goodies to make it a memorable experience. As a spoiler, have a look-see at some name tags I've been working on: http://i.imgur.com/AP8Us.png They were painstakingly crafted by hand, by that comphermc fellow. The ink was harvested from the juice of rare Michigan berries, and the paper was dried from birch-wood pulp. A handful of sheep were sheared for wool, which was spun into lanyards. Each attendee will get one as a souvenir from the event. Huzzah! In seriousness, I am printing and cutting them myself. | Can I just say that this event is simultaneously the most awesome and heartbreaking thing I have ever wanted to attend in my entire life? | Finally found everyone last night!! Spaff and Johnny gave a remarkable presentation of the new Move Pack. It looks awesome even if you are not a creator. Lock and others did a great job setting up the playing room. After no sleep for 24 hours I had to crash too early (10) to know what else went on last night. I did get to play Comph's new level for a few minutes before I closed my eyes. It looks as awesome as all his other levels.
