So, I've found out the fool-proof way of getting into Home if you keep getting the error code.

Mash X. Again, and again until you get in.

It means you haven't been buying enough DLC. Home scans your PS3 during startup and determines how much money you've given Sony. This number is sent to the server which then decides whether you've payed enough to earn the right to go online.

Actually, it seems to be a connection problem. I received that error after having been forcefully ejected from Home because my connection was lost.

Thought I'd just add this here; no reason for a new thread.

http://www.psu.com/PlayStation-Home-to-have-a-white-Christmas--a0005912-p0.php

Do you live in Australia? What about New Mexico? Maybe somewhere further south? Regardless of where you live, there is a slight chance that you've never experienced a white Christmas, something everyone should be able to do at least once in their life. Sony seems to feel the same way with the release of their latest update to PlayStation Home.

According to the official Asian PlayStation website, Sony has unveiled its Christmas update for the online social platform, adding snow-filed environments, a Christmas tree in the central plaza and of course, item giveaways that anyone should be excited to receive.

This event is only for a limited time, so make sure to come Home for Christmas in order to check it out!

I was in the beta program and barely made use of it... it's cool for a bit to meet people, and the minigames can be great fun and addictive. I'm just never going to shell out real money for the extra goodies, and the good thing is I don't really have to to have a good experience.2009-01-02 18:19:00
