Here's the idea: for the month of October, I'm going to dress my avatar up as another forum member. If you guys want, please do the same. We had a lot of fun last year. ^__^

Secondly, may I say that, as a Christian, I don't find these new usernames particularly funny. I'm wondering whether or not they may even be in violation of the inapproriate content rule because we have a lot of religious people in the community here who will find them offensive, and rightly so. I'm not saying I'm going to come after you guys with my Banarang, but I would ask that - please - if you value the feelings of others in the community like myself, you might reconsider any religiously based usernames and change them. That's actually not what the theme of this thread and the whole Halloween disguise thing was about.

Well maybe everybody should photoshop more instead of outright taking another member's avatar as it is without incorperating a hint of who you originally were somehow. not only is it confusing, but it's also uncreative IMO.

Confuzzledcartman for example, put sunglasses over CC's original avatar which helps to know who he really is.
I did the same by adding my signature cat/ferret nose thingy along with a ninja headband and added the word 'ninja' and the number '22' to Doopz's original avatar'		2010-10-02 22:21:00

I also want to say, Outlaw, don't take all the blame for this. You started it out as a joke which couldn't really hurt anyone and I think I took it too far. So yeah, don't hold yourself to it, and let's just make this a lesson for next time we do some special event like this (you gotta admit, we do a lot of them) to think about who we're being and making sure it's nothing that will offend anyone.

I don't believe so.. I think each name change is a chargeable XP amount.

Well.. the topic is dressing up like another member. So if there is another member with a pokemon as part of their avatar... sure. Though I really like outlaw's new costume.

I've been BabyDoll for a while, well at least I have that facepaint on my sackboy
There are some thing I've wanted to say here for a while... I've seen people just copy someone elses avatar and sig and in some case pretty much every little information about someone else which I don't think is the point of this whole thing.
I think that everyone should leave their username or at least something that we can recognize them. I really wouldn't want to go and look at people's profiles every now and then trying to figure out who they really are.
Also it would be funnier and more creative if people would edit their avatar to look like someone elses at some part but still have the original under there, or in my case something to recognize me from. Just copying someone elses avatar isn't that creative and causes confusion especially for me since I usually don't really look at who the poster is if I see the avatar.
I don't think I have to go into what happened yesterday, I'm pretty sure we have that covered.

But umm yeah, I think I have said enough. Happy Halloween (even though it's a little too early to say that)

Finally I can talk! Woo!

I've been BabyDoll for a while, well at least I have that facepaint on my sackboy
There are some thing I've wanted to say here for a while... I've seen people just copy someone elses avatar and sig and in some case pretty much every little information about someone else which I don't think is the point of this whole thing.
I think that everyone should leave their username or at least something that we can recognize them. I really wouldn't want to go and look at people's profiles every now and then trying to figure out who they really are.
Also it would be funnier and more creative if people would edit their avatar to look like someone elses at some part but still have the original under there, or in my case something to recognize me from. Just copying someone elses avatar isn't that creative and causes confusion especially for me since I usually don't really look at who the poster is if I see the avatar.
I don't think I have to go into what happened yesterday, I'm pretty sure we have that covered.

But umm yeah, I think I have said enough. Happy Halloween (even though it's a little too early to say that)

EDIT: also, I wouldn't change the PSN info to a PSN that doesn't exist... there might be someone who wants to add you during this month.

As far as I'm care, you should be able to change up to two of, your username, avatar, and sig, but not all 3. All 3 is impersonation, not a halloween disguise, lol.

As for the PSN thing, yeah.


Also, if you want to risk your true name being taken, that's fine IMO so long as you know your risking it.

I put a thing in the first post ... because I do think it's kinda dangerous to change your username, just because you might get it taken from you, and that would be very upsetting if that happened. Thanks. It's got nothing on yours though. I love how everybody reacts by moving their eyes or blinking when you fly by--reminds me of an old looney toons cartoon--and your innocent smile when Grantos confronts you cracks me up every time I see it. I'm curious how long it took to set up. I seriously underestimated how much time it would take to set up my avatar--if I had known how long it was gonna' take me to do it, I wouldn't have done it... but then again, I've been under the weather the past few days with nothing else to take up my time, so I guess it wasn't so bad.		2010-10-05 14:39:00

I have been animating since 2001 for my site, kappacino.com, and I got really burned out of it after doing like 3 animations in a row that were close to an hour long. They took from July to December and I had to stop after a while. Every once in a blue moon I get bitten by what I call the "animation bug", though, and I will just sit down and make an avatar or something. Something small. Something that ISN'T an hour long. That's actually how the kitsune crown animation that's linked in my sig came about. I did that in three days, working like 8 hours each day.
