In honesty, I'm confused here. Now that you think about it, why would they use a Mafia to knit Sackboy? And why make a countdown for something that's already known by the entire gaming community? It makes no sense to make a countdown for a LBP2 site, especially one that contains information we already knew for months. It's Japan, that should explain all. Why were they expecting something so amazing to come out of a Japanese countdown for a British game? Seriously, it just baffles me that people were up so late thinking that Sony was now announcing major info specifically to a market that has little to no interest to LBP comparatively, and then blame Sony for getting their hopes up. @Cog, I have played Mafia 2, infact i completed it. And it was a total waste of money, Good thing i sold it the day after I completed it. It's a very flawed game with a repetitive 12 hour story. If you don't believe me, just look at the reviews, it's got bad reviews, and an overall score of 7.5/10

@silverleon The majority of us new it wouldn't be to important, but what if it had been a new japan only game or something. Now that doesn't mean much here since we new it was LBP2 but your saying if it is to do with that part of the world we don't care. I for one get exited about Japanese releases on games, if the game is important enough to me I will import it. The most notable one I am exited for is monster hunter portable 3rd. Should I not be allowed to be exited for it, and be disappointed if it gets delayed, after all it doesn't necessarily effect me does it? The fact is human nature causes us to cling on every last piece of information we can find about this game, even if it announced with one thing we didn't know before we would of gotten exited. Unfortunately that was not the case but who cares, it was funny

I can't believe how much some people have been jumped on in this thread for being excited and feeling a bit disappointed that nothing really came of it. Yeah it has been said that it confirms LBP2 will be at TGS and maybe we'll have some new juicy vids or info. BUT... some people were hoping for this to be a sneaky way of announcing something big, as there was a big countdown and we found out early on that the countdown was lbp2 related due to the info that was pulled from the flash file. To say that it was only meant for a Japanese audience and thus shouldn't concern anyone else, is itself being a bit narrow minded. It was obvious that a countdown lbp2 related was gonna be found and jumped all over by the community, no matter where in the world it was intended for. What's wrong with having a bit of hope and clutching at straws for something you care about. I for one didn't stay up all night to find out what it was, but I was keeping a close eye on the thread and on the day I had to get up at 5:30am for work and that was just after the countdown was to finish. I did check it before work and I did get a bit disappointed. But after a month of waiting for "SOON" I'd take info coming from any corner of the earth. Sorry if we ain't all as clever as all of those that new it all along. But if there wasn't us dumb folk out there, then you wouldn't look clever now would you Sorry for the sarcasm, but I don't like the way some of the valued members have acted in this thread
