Creativity and originality are linked to each other in a way that makes them almost the same. Creativity in artwork to me is a measure of how original it is and how it's a better idea than most ideas - originality would be that it's not a common idea, and those two criteria are very similar. I wouldn't know how to judge effort either. Questions that pop into my head are whether entrants score extra points for color, what it would be like to judge art on different formats, hand-drawn or digital, and how I truly know how much effort the person put into their work. Sorry to sound a little cheesy, but, some people struggle to draw something that remotely resembles sackboy, while some people can draw him very naturally. Even though effort seems like it can't be guessed or known, I don't want to just judge the quality either. I think the criteria should be more defined and easier to judge, but not a different concept than than creativity is more important than quality.

Yeah, same. I definitely thought the ones in the final three really deserved being there. Very detailed and fun costumes! Also, thanks Zim! I didn't know you'd make sketches of our sackboys. Should I just follow Incinerators tutorial to use the flashdrive and uploading a picture of me and send you a private message of it? I managed to get a lot done yesterday before my right hand became sore, so I had to stop. I'll finish the rest of the sketches today though. I still need a picture from Okisaan, CrazeAlec, The Forgotten, CaliAwesome, Mr. Genji, and Co2. Get your pictures in by today, or I'm sorry to say you won't be able to be included in the group picture. I want to finish all the art I owe today, because I spent all week drawing when I originally planned to finish earlier so I could have a break before school starts. Wow. I actually like these sketches abit more than some of your finished piaces, tbh. You ought to do this (as in just plain sketches) more often; gives a more "personal" vibe to it. Oh, and thank you for the drawing of Bone Daddy. I was thinking the cane would've been in front (like Dr. Faciliar), but this works as well. If you want a full critique on it, just PM me.
