oh poo. I was crossing my fingers and hoping you'd have the winners selected by now. Recording those levels would've been a great way to end my little Halloween level recording special. (Recording everyone's entry would've been too much)2009-11-01 03:48:00

Those levels were fun. Sorry I didn't get mine in, caught a case of White Page Syndrome (writer's block) and wasn't able to get focused. Although this comp did give me a nice idea straight out of an armored core game.2009-11-01 08:13:00

Wow, I'm honored! It was a huge struggle to get it in in time, and as everyone who played knows, it's got a fair share of issues/glitches - which I hope to remedy in the near future. But I'm just thrilled and honored, and had a great time making my own ultimate Halloween level!

I just got in from a loong Halloween of being out and about, and now I'm going to settle in and play everyone else's Halloween levels... but first, a run to the Super Value 24-hour, because I just realized we are completely out of toilet paper.

Or, as it's called in my level, "toilet papey".

Congratulations to the winners!

The winning levels really are very good and deserve it.

Morgana, thanks a lot for the 25exp points it's really nice that we get rewarded for doing our best and entering the competition

my personal favourite halloween level was the one from joey (but that's personal taste of course)

Uh oh! count me out of this one! I'm taking it eeeEEAAAAAeeeaaaeeeaasy on create mode! Between this and the beta, I think I've lost a few years off my life!

Count me in as a judge. I'm going to relish the playing, and staying on the sidelines. If I could only force myself to swallow my ideas and not start "tinkering" in create mode...

Congratulations to the winners, this was a really fun contest!!

To me, this contest really showed how diverse all the creators on this forum are.
No level felt or looked the same in any way and to see everyone's personal interpretation of Halloween was something else.
That was probably the most enjoyable part of it and must have given Morgana, Jww & Vortex the greatest headache, haha!!

Sadly, with me falling sick there was no way I could finish my level and join in on the fun but I will just release it as a general "monsterlevel" a few weeks from now.

Congratulations to all the winners!

The level I made for this contest is out now, if anyone wants to see it. It's called Trick or DIE!

EDIT: Just played Teebonesy's level. Amazing!

Anyone know how I can find All Dressed Up? I can't find it by searching it.

Thanks for the kind words!

Morgana mentions this in the first post, and it's also on the All Dressed Up showcase thread, but here's how to find it:

stop by Argon_Vile's delicious delicious brains level and check the comments - that's how I found "iGotFancyPants" in LBP.

It's a fun level, if only halfway Halloweeny!

This was a wonderful competition and I thoroughly enjoyed the levels I got to play. Congratulations to all 3 winners! Special thanks to you, Morgana, for all the time it must've taken not only organise the comp, but to play each level through a sufficient number of times! The same goes for all the judges. Massive effort! Despite the fact I'll never have the time to enter, I look forward to following THE NEXT ONE.
Cheers!
P.S. Sorry to hear you're sick, Zwollie! Hope you're back on your feet now : (

I don't know yet if I will. I was thinking about it but there are two other members who seem to on the way to setting up Christmas contests and how many can you really have. Maybe when it gets a little closer to December I'll revisit the idea. Although we could just have a Winter/Holiday level contest so people could do Christmas, Hanukkah, Yule, Kwanza or anthing wintery type of level..... hm.... I'll revisit this I think.2009-11-03 22:31:00

Whoever is doing the Christmas/winter level contest I suggest you let everyone know around late November so we'll all have plenty of time. I'm sorry if I sound a little demanding putting this on other people's shoulders, I don't mean it that way. Just giving suggestions!

agreed - the more time you can give the better. Trick is not so far in advance people forget about it though.2009-11-04 21:15:00

Yeah, I see what you mean. You do need the perfect balance. You don't want to give the people 6 months and then they forget, then it's pointless. Smart thinking! Haha!
