| That looks great Cog. You've raised the bar right from the off. Cheers for that lol. I just finished my entry apart from some scenery additions but I published it in the meantime anyway. It's called 'Rusty the Reluctant Roving Postbot'. Set in a future sterile world where you no longer have to take your post to the postbox because the 'Postbots' come to you. Rusty yearns for the 'Good Old Days' and rebels against the system that made him a Postbot when all he wanted from life was to be a second-hand car sales bot. Visit him in his not so utopian world and see him throwing a paddy ( beware though as that's not all he's throwing ). Nearly 3 am now so i'm off to bed. I'll put some pictures up here later. HA!! | Just took a look at Rob-T. This guy has probably some of the best facial animations I've seen so far! Plus the arms and feet are nicely animated as well. Really reminds me of jwwphotos' Bad News Billy. I did manage to break the poor guy's right claw though. Yanked the switch and CRACK! It vanished. Also broke the switch as well. | Alright, just published my first entry for the second round entitled "Rob the Trophy Hunter". After seeing some other entries, i don't think its going to win, but i had fun making it During the apocolyptic trophy wars, Rob was originally created as a soldier, but escaped into the wilderness. | Wow! Some brilliant entries so far. I have seen Rusty in person mrvista and he's fantastic! He didn't give me too much trouble, apart from hitting me on the back of the head with 65,000 envelopes!! Great scenery!!! Also paid a visit to Barburst. He is an amazing character, good work Cog. Joey, I think Rob-T is absolutely brilliant. I love the animation, it is so well done and his expressions are fabulous. Very good work indeed! Going to take a look at Rob the trophy hunter soon too Burnvictim, looking forward to it. | Trying my best with this one Burnvictim, not an easy task for someone who runs a mile from anything remotely resembling new fangled gadgetry!! Besides, it takes me about 5 hours to cut a simple shape!! Do I like it, don't I like it. Maybe thats a bit big, maybe it would look better in this material. (and yes, I know what you're talking about, I'm just saying this in general) And to clear up on the shopkeeper rule, in the end I just got rid of it. | PavaRobby the Robot has a job to be done, but opera'atic aspiration keeps him singing for fun. His Grandfather Robby might not have been proud, but that doesn't stop him from singing out loud. He's currently hazy drawing too many amps from trying to hit that high c - clamp. Check him out in game.. he really sings and moves around. ..though he will run over you if you're not careful. | Oops , I think I may have inadvertently broken the rules crazymario. I'm not sure but I think I used a 'Burgerman' sticker for Rusty's mouth and I just noticed that's not on your allowed DLC. Is that a problem? Me and mrsvista are just off to check out the other entries right now. They all sound awesome and Dolly looks amazing Icey. EDIT : We made the mistake of starting with Icey's Dolly and mrsvista has just completed her fourth spin cycle. The whole level was just awesomely designed. I've told you before to stop doing that, you aren't giving the rest of us a chance. mrsvista's words upon finishing the level were "absolutely bloody brilliant". Never mind Dolly ,everything in the level is amazing. The entrance being a 'sackflap' is marvellous and the washing on the line was very funny. I didn't mind seeing your bra and knickers but I wasn't so keen on seeing Rhy's stripey vest and pants LOL. I can only apologise for such language and apologise to the other entries. Him singing his synthesized scales was a very cool idea. drakon- it is rather hard to see the full omega project, and using the feet to propel yourself upward was rather difficult for me as well. | Don't worry about winning - it's really about challenging yourself to try something you haven't done before or thinking of a cool new idea that can help spark creativity and help get over creator's block. It's a cool exercise for playing with materials and story lines. Little clue for you all... Never build a snail robot expressly designed for the elimination of garden gnomes out of the Valentines' lolly-pop... Pulled an all-nighter today and literally have nothing to show for it except a nagging skullache. The lollipop exists betwixt layers... everytime I add to it everything falls to the ground... and I mean everything... In the construction of this I have experienced a weird glitch where the snail actually occupied no layer but was still visible... Editable, yet nothing from the existing 7 layers could touch it... In my sleepless stupor I have no idea how I escaped this insane cycle of non-existence/fall apart. I have absolutely no idea why I havent just used any other normal material and simply photo'd the lolly sticker onto it... This has been the stupidiest challenge of my lbp life... Oh and I mean stupid! I went with a 1950's theme for my robot, because like the 80's for rock'n'roll, the 50's were when (movie) robots were perfected. Backstory: Gort used to be the star of a hit show in the 50's, called "Everyone Loves Gort". But when it got cancelled, nobody seemed to care about him anymore. Him singing his synthesized scales was a very cool idea. drakon- it is rather hard to see the full omega project, and using the feet to propel yourself upward was rather difficult for me as well.
