Well, I don't have many tips on actually using the corner editor, since it's pretty straightforward, but I use it a lot since I make sculpture thingies in LBP and use a certain technique Cin showed to me a looooong time ago. With that technique, you don't have to worry about having to corner edit materials that are embedded in other materials, because you make the shape beforehand and THEN embed it into another shape. It's really difficult to explain...Just add me on PSN (theziminvader) and I can show you how it works, I'll probably have time tomorrow. Actions speak louder than words!

More on topic- Shamgars request was going great when I left, despite Zim being a little hard on herself. Keep the grass, it gives the cave a warm feeling to it which is what I reckon distinguishes your art from others on the site. (I recall someone saying lose the grass which threw me into a fit of rage..not really)

I like that you included his level as a BG, the tones of the drawing are beautiful, love the mix, teh shadows and lightning turned pretty neat
my only comment is that the bending legs looks bit off in reference of the floor of the bg, overall, is a great drawing 8D

I think it's really good, much better than what I could do. I've only drawn one good human face which was a self portrait I did at school, sunk a good 6-7hrs into that thing though. I'm trying to learn to draw humans as well, did one the other day and rubbed it out 'cause it was so horrible I really need to get into the right mood to draw :/

I LOVE IT!...but IIRC isn't the horns thing on haze kind of make a plot hole in your story? i forgot what it was but i know it has something to do with the horns and being the heir because of them right? (forgive me too much on my mind to remember that info...although i loved the story)

Actually, Haze's horns are black, not gold. It's golden horns that are important.

well all in all I'm quite pleased with the change and can understand the difficulty in the old haze...although I still prefer old haze more...but yeah you can't create him in LBP so its understandable.

all i can say is the direction looks nice...lets just hope you can actually build this one lol....as for the horns...there's only like 2 choices in the deco department...and i know you like to design characters through imagination before LBP...but maybe consider those 2-3 horn options before designing anything with horns so you can be sure its possible...less stress i say		2011-03-09 10:28:00

Aaaanyways, here's a preview of a comic I'm working on in between FF work. It's for a contest thing hosted by someone on deviantART called an OCT - Original Character Tournament. You send in an application/reference of one of your characters, then you're paired up with another contestant. The organizer/host of the OCT sets an overall theme (most OCTs have a good storyline to them) - It can be fighting, racing, etc. Some OCTs have a different event for each Round. Both you and your opponent have to draw a comic or make an animation or whatever you want depicting your character winning that Round against your opponent. Whoever is the most creative/clever/well-done out of the two of you advances to the next Round.
Except, I didn't get an application in on time, so I'm just a Spectator, not a contestant. A spectator does comics of things happening on the side of the main story/contest. And doesn't win any prizes. :L

SOOOO now that the lengthy explanation is out of the way, here's my 25% finished Spectator entry.

I'd like opinions on the shading in the first panel. Since the light source is coming from the top left, and Character1 is bigger than Character2, then he should be casting a shadow on him, right? I think it's carp that Sony is doing this. I, along with others, paid extra to get the collectors edition, knowing we would get "Exclusive" content. Now, all that is left is Gonzo. You can even get the sackboy other places. I am not a huge Sony fan right now.2011-03-19 21:34:00

You can get a cracked version of SAI easily (What Zim and the other gangsta's out there use) or photoshop if you search something like "SAI for free" into youtube and find a trustworthy video (several thanks in the comments etc).

That or I can send either of them to you but I'd prefer if you saved me the trouble and used the above option. If you have a question or general reply than PM it to me as to not take this thread off topic. The only off-topicness I allow is pony talk 		2011-03-29 23:27:00

I started this request about a month or so back, but hadn't gotten around to finishing it...Then the tablet broke. I wanted to keep it under wraps until I got a new tablet and I could get it finished completely, but I may as well show you now since it probably won't be finished for another week or so, since it's only halfway done. Those of you who went to the stream when I was working on it have seen it already, though. It's GDN's request btw.

Okay, so here's the dealio...I've got 9 more assignments to do until I can get that tablet, 5 of which I am planning to finish tonight, and I'll do the last 4 tomorrow. IF everything goes according to plan, I'll be able to order the tablet on Sunday and get it on Tuesday. And that's a big IF, because I've been having a lot of trouble not slacking off or procrastinating lately.
I haven't got anything else to show you guys, so I may as well show you guys this poster concept I did a while ago but wasn't planning to show you guys. :I
