Well, I managed to get on the server, and two very stupid things I did.

First off, I fought 2 spiders and 3 creepers at once.....I didn't die xD

Secondly, I left myself in a cave for over 5 hours and came back to find myself about 15 blocks down in several creeper holes.....I didn't die then either, thanks to my armor!

Now, remind me never to minimize Minecraft and turn off the sound again. 		2011-12-07 03:35:00

I usually try to stay away from enemy mobs, and hide from them but today I must've fought at least 100. First of all, Gray and I went exploring in an abandoned mine for about an hour. We found a friendly slime, and tried to keep him as a pet, but... He went splat. By the way, here's our photo Gray:

Also, I fought off a creeper and an Enderman at the same time today, which I thought was awesome considering I've never killed an Endy before, and I've only killed like, 3 creepers online. (With melee attacks and without them exploding)

And now I just gotta grow a ton more sugar canes to get more bookshelves around my enchanting table.

And yeah! Lots of loot from multiple underground mines connected to dungeons. Our house in the picture was actually a cleared-out dungeon we found!

Slimes are rare, luckily we only found a small one or we wouldve had trouble!

Well,
There appears to be damage to the snowball/arrow shooter I've made, and it looks like it wasn't just creepers....
Here are a few images I got. This must have happened when I was offline between 11p.m. and 3a.m. GMT
There appear to be two TNT/ Creeper explosions BUT the arrows were mostly stolen and/or left firing and most are gone.
I'm not blaming anyone as of now for explosion damage, but The arrows must have been stolen or purposely fired off.
Sorry about making you guys have to look at so many photos o_O
There goes all the hard work loading the arrows Memo.

I've been playing too much Minecraft...

Whenever I have to go down to the garage at night I always imagine a zombie or creeper walking up the stairs.

So they were about to release the 1.0.0 bukkit RB, but then a wild bug appeared.

I'm not able to do anything on the server for some reason. It won't let me place blocks, destroy blocks, open chests, or use furnaces or crafting tables.

Think it could be something to do with the server? Or is it a lag problem or something?

EDIT: Nevermind. As soon as I pressed submit post it started working. :blush:

yes. ..........wat? we never had .mc in our designation. it was always .cm

also, i don't have auto restarts enabled quite yet. there is still some stuff that needs tweaking/fixing for it to work.

I also had to disable the Trashcan mod. it was causing....ALL of the problems that i was trying to fix on the server. I'll keep an eye on it for when it is less....fiddly. but for now it looks like commandbook is the way we'll go.

Residences now work....i hope.

I want to talk to who is in charge of the Town and the Windmill. I plan to build a cobblestone road connecting the Town and my ranch. I might extend it to the spawn town and Saxport if I get the permissions. I wanted to build a road network system on the old server, and still am holding onto that idea. Omg I'm having issues with multiplayer... I keep getting some error. And sometimes it lets me in only to kick me out a minute later... Anybody know how to fix? This is the error I get...

I think an Underwater Bridge would be awesome! And I agree with ALEXhatena in that if you do make it Underwater, it should be made of Cobble and Glass.
I'm thinking more in the lines of a stone brick structure, with glass blocks on the sides and top, and a three-block wide cobblestone road inside.

By the way, I've talked to Kernel about the road to Thethingthatisthirsty and he said that he doesn't see anything wrong with it, but I still want to show the area where it will connect to avoid future issues. The road is ready to connect, I just need to make sure.

And if anyone wants to donate Cobble/Stone Bricks/Sand/Glass Blocks for the tunnel, or help me with the orientation...		2011-12-16 12:16:00

When joining the server, the game window can not be in fullscreen. After you join you can maximize the window but not beforehand.

Aww, I'm against game hacking, but since I know I'm going to buy it soon well for now I've been playing on a hack site. Funny thing : every time I start a mine under a building, I end up falling in a giant natural cave, which only has some gold and coal. I WANT REDSTONE !

I've been building a dungeon in creative (with the help of MCEdit for the walls, too long) and for now I have and entrance, a lava line all around and a hidden area. I might copy this castle in a server when I'm done ! (for now it's on a flat map) Though I'dd have to make sure people only have swords, armors and bows, no pickaxes or axes (don't you dare cheating in my 6-story maze (with an underground later)

Or I could copy that to my next map. I think I'm going to use an inventory editor, but only to get stone and redstone 'cause I just love them !

Sand and gravel have physics attached to them. if one block around one of them falls, is added, or is destroyed while no blocks are under them, they will fall. this will start a cascade effect if enough blocks have nothing under them.

If no one has the chunk loaded, where the wheat is at, then it won't grow. The same concept goes with basically everything, items won't vanish, trees don't grow, etc.

But I spend 90% of my time within 100 blocks of my wheat farm. I played for about 8 hours today. Pretty sure they should have grown just a little bit more than they did.

so now we have a mob arena (more to come, this is just the first one.) as well as sheep that regrow their wool if you feed them seeds or wheat...or bread. 2 of the 3 anyways.... and.......what else did i do....eh. i forget. good enough for now.

So... Um... We may have... Temporarily broken the spawn part of the server... By massing it with most likely hundreds of mobs in the arena... PICTURES!

Well... I would show pictures... But going back to look at them, there was too much going on for it to not blackscreen the picture... Dx Sorry... About 2 minutes later, the game ran out of memory and hasn't let me anywhere near the spawn yet!

Survivors Log- Wave 140:

I don't know how much longer I can last. After we exploited our way out of the Arena, we each decided to go our separate ways. Our only goal was to isolate the Arena chunk so that mobs wouldn't spawn. But some unknown force went back to that chunk. And unleashed the mobs on the town. They now pour out in an endless stream. Our first loss traveled back to the Arena to give an update on the chaos and can barely move without lagging. The world has been taken over by Chunk Errors promising riches of Gold, Iron, and Diamond but only giving a quick, and painful blow of a crash. I have worked my way out to my home, far away from the chaos, and holed myself in the ground.

This is the only picture we have been able to attain of the madness. Everything afterwards was lost. This is from Wave 30.

Sorry... Dx At first I was the good guy trying to fix it up... But then it ALL went downhill from there after we patched up the glowstone and got the idea for this... :/

Just experience jail for the first time. And take my advice. Don't cower in the corner. Evil dogs will spawn and rip your face off. Oh and arguing with the voice will solve nothing.

I believe you're confusing SOPA with DRM. Although similar in purpose, they are not the same thing.

I dont have a clue how he did it, but he can join My friend and I's server without a problem.

@Woodbury I first obtained the game through a crack copy. And then once I'd played it online, I realised how much of an amazing and long lasting game it really is- and bought it. There's no story line- you make your own. As I've read online before, Notch has created a simulation of real life, making communities and such on servers. This is what ours is for. If you want to get a crack to see if it's worth it, feel free. But if you want to play among us, buy the game, support the developers, and be an honest contributor to the server.

Tan also apparently doesn't claim "ridiculous amounts of land" according to himself, and yet, when I found a giant beautiful valley which kern and me both loved(which he felt the need to say on multiple occasions how much it sucked, despite me saying how much I loved it; kern even dubbed it "notch's birthplace"), he had to check to see if it was on his land. A giant valley, and he had to check. Turns out it wasnt on his land, but the fact remains, if you have to check and see if a huge unique valley is on your property, maybe its time to tone things down. He also admitted he claimed a plot of land 500 x 500 blocks big.

as far as land claims go, no, tan does not, in fact, have a huge claim of land.

kern and inanimacy will be dealt with alongside him, but i'm thinking that i need to get the other mods input on all three cases.

edit!: Also i know whats wrong with residence, but untill a couple of plugins update i'll have to fix it by manually making the permissions groups listing for every person read a......erm. Posterior First.

Mods should be able to tp all the time, and now they can, regardless of tptoggle. I really like the tptoggle thing though, because if I dont want someone near me, I can make sure they cant tp to me. However, if i do want someone to come to me for something, I can; just the other day, I was starving in a cave with two hearts left and oc came and gave me food, just in the nick of time. Also, it makes trading with people or "hey ATM, come here" much easier, rather than meeting at someplace, or warping and yelling in the chat as to where the person your looking for is.2011-12-25 01:53:00

So we are respawning the Enderdragon!? Yay! But yeah, I agree. One at a time.

Also, I'm currently working on how to figure out how to render worlds in Blender for more epicer shots! Hit a wrong button though so I have to restart... I'll upload an image of what I get tonight.

So here's what I was able to accomplish from 1 hour of working with the 2 FPS that Blender has allowed me to have.

I tried it a lot and the only thing they will eat from my hand is wheat, which makes them mate if you feed two. No regrowth over the last three days.

Also, the server has been down for a while again. Me and Inan were fighting enderdragons in the end but DANG there were a lot of them, like you srsly need to get rid of about fifty. we each were being attacked by three at once at all times. But first, get it up and going.		2011-12-26 02:16:00

2) It's the holidays :/
3) FUS RO DAH! (I got Skyrim!)

True, basically, the usual stuff is going on, except not as many people want to live in towns now. This could be due to the arguing that starting up over the last couple of worlds. Speaking of which, I Don't know why, but that arguing is starting to pick up. Could be because of new people, land(I know), or maybe just life. But we've gotten new plugins and are going to be getting an RPG plugin soon(hopefully). There's a lot you missed out on, and I hope you get caught up soon. I won't be on that much(See the above post), but I hope you have fun!

True, basically, the usual stuff is going on, except not as many people want to live in towns now. This could be due to the arguing that starting up over the last couple of worlds. Speaking of which, I Don't know why, but that arguing is starting to pick up. Could be because of new people, land(I know), or maybe just life. But we've gotten new plugins and are going to be getting an RPG plugin soon(hopefully). There's a lot you missed out on, and I hope you get caught up soon. Sure! I have AT LEAST 10 stacks of dirt that I need to get rid of anyways.

EDIT: Seriously... If you type something close to /spawn, it should realize that's what you want. Because if I fall in lava, I'm in a rush. It's hard to type /spawn. I usually end up with either /spwn or /sp]wn. So I've lost about 10k Gill of stuff in caves for just that reason. And I know. That's how it's supposed to be. The minimum watt requirement for the Radeon 6570 is 400 watts. My following guess is mostly educated because I'm not really sure how the power supply works and how much super watt power (I don't care if that's not the proper term, it sounds cool and that's all that matters) the rest of your parts consume, but maybe it's not powerful enough?
Your problem may also be the problem I had a few days ago. You didn't plug in the power supply (on the inside of the case, not the outside) right (and I shall never let my dad forget that). Make sure it's actually in there. Replug it to make sure.
In case neither of these work, Google your problem. I did when mine didn't work and there were tons of possibilities (some nasty, some simple).

Hey Speedy, whatever you do, don't end up splicing wires. It'll end up haunting you when you upgrade your computer again. I'm not sure what the problem with your computer is, but just check all the wires and make sure everything is in place. Next time, you should take pictures of which wires go to what before you take everything apart. It helps, trust me.		2011-12-28 15:27:00

600w is far more than enough. Check the 20 + 4 pin connection to the motherboard. Check your PCI-E 6 and 6 + 2 pin connections to you graphics card. Check your 4 + 4 pin connection for your CPU, also check the connection for all of the fans.

If it turns on, then it may be overheating and shutting off to protect it, make sure if you had to touch the heat sink you resat it correctly.
If it does not turn on at all the PSU is faulty, or you did not connect the 20 + 4 pin ATX cable correctly. It needs to be very snug.		2011-12-28 15:38:00

So we called the geeks and they said that we MAY have fried the motherboard... ._.; So currently, I am taking out the GS600 and the Radeon to see if it works with the old power supply. If not, then we're skrewed...

We fixed it! Sorta... Now the moniter isn't getting any power from the wall... But I put the new power supply back in after I noticed that the directions for the graphics card kindly forgot to say to plug in the 6-pin... -.-' So now everything turns on with the new stuff. The only problem is that NONE of the power sockets are working for the moniter... ._. Either it's now shorted out, or the wal died... So I'm confuzzled...

This sooo better be worth it...

I had just set up the wheat farm and had not had time to res it yet, plus wanted to know how to do it so that only certain people could harvest or plant. In other words, they didn't need permissions yet. I still want pixelated blood for it, mayhaps in PVP combat, with the other person in no armor and me in diamond armor

Well, some people (such as me) enjoy seclusion. But we don't want to be alone. Those are two different things. If I'm in a 1000 block zone that only I'm allowed in, I'm perfectly happy. As long as other people are in the server for me to talk to. This is just me though. I can't speak for anybody else. But we all have reasons for not wanting people on our property.

Let's put this in real life terms.

Pretend you're a carpenter and you just built your own house. Are you just going to let a bunch of random strangers walk in and out of your house as they please? Probably not. You'll probably lock the door and only give keys to the people you want in. This way, you can see your friends and send them to do stuff in your house for you, but you can keep out the people you don't want in there.		2011-12-31 05:24:00

Okay. I'm getting really annoyed at this. Why won't mods work for me? The only one that works is Optifine. Nothing else. Every now and then I can get Rei's minimap to work. But usually not. I've been trying MCPatcher but that won't work half the time. And nothing ever works if I try doing it manually. I have deleted META-INF, I have ModLoader, I have watched the tutorials. But either I don't get the 'mods' folder, or I get it but when I put stuff in it, it doesn't work.

It's getting really annoying because I would like to:
-Experience the Aether
-Use my mini-map
-Have 'friends' in SSP
-See all of you as ponies
-Basically just try out random mods

Oh. My. God. I am having so many mod issues. It was working fine until I installed Single Player Commands. But even then, I deleted my .minecraft folder in Roaming (After backing up my saves and stuff of course) and I still can't get OptiFine to work again. I have tried with and without ModLoader. But it refuses to work.

I deleted META-INF and dragged in all the class files from the OptiFine zip to minecraft.jar. Opened the game and got to the main menu perfectly fine. Tried joining the server and I get this error:

Speedy, next time you log in to Minecraft, use the "Force Update" option. Next, install ModLoader, make sure it is for the correct version and also make sure to delete the "META_INF" folder. If you are on a Mac, you must install via terminal and finder. There is a guide in the ModLoader thread. Next, instead of using OptiFine, try using MCPatcher instead or just put your mods in the mod folder created by ModLoader. If done correctly everything should work.2012-01-01 06:32:00

What texture packs are you guys using? I'm using Jolicraft "Holiday Edition" which is a sick texture. Oh and whenever I spawn on the multiplayer world I can never find enough trees to build a house xD. I can't find any mountains either so I can't go underground. I usually use the first one that Alec posted, but I sometimes use Animal Crafting (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/45139-64x19-animal-crafting-beta/) or Wind Waker (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/840282-%EF%BD%A1%E2%98%85-16x-32x-64x-128x100-wind-waker-%E2%98%85%EF%BD%A1-glsl-pocket-edition-support-best-texture-pack-of-2011/). The only problem with those ones is that some blocks aren't included in the pack yet, so they're invisible.		2012-01-02 04:35:00

What texture packs are you guys using? I'm using Jolicraft "Holiday Edition" which is a sick texture. Oh and whenever I spawn on the multiplayer world I can never find enough trees to build a house xD. I can't find any mountains either so I can't go underground. I really wanna a build a town somewhere near New Mercus (If that's ok with you Merc)

In my opinion the Aether isn't a particularly good mod which just uses up so many block ids for very trivial purposes.

That's why I have a separate .minecraft saved with the Aether mod that I switch to when I want to use it. Then I switch back to my normal one when I play online. Just found out today that if you have the Aether mod installed, then it starts spawning Lore Books for you in MP... ._.; Then if you try to move/open it, the server kicks you.

'New Mercus' is Saxport. Towns should also be about 200 blocks away unless you agree on something with others. One example is how Peacefound is about 100 blocks (or less) away.

And I use Degraphs Decraftik (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/492800-32x100-decraftik-v21/). It requires HD textures, though. It has an amazing Realistic Cartoon look that I just love. And the water looks epic.		2012-01-02 06:57:00

I recommend this (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/819387-mod-manager/) instead of switching jars all the time. It sets up a little different to any other mod, so read the whole post. I use it purely because of how much easier it is to install and uninstall mods with it, instead of putting a bunch of files into the minecraft.jar, you just need to put the .zip in an externalmods folder and it's done.		2012-01-02 12:19:00

So I just logged on this morning to find my mineshaft in Peacefound beside my house "closed due to explosion" SInce Creepers dont damage the enviroment, it had to be TNT. was someone using it in my mine? I havent a care in the world and I actually find it hilarious, but I went in there to find everything was just as I left it. (aside from some new digs spots ) Aslo, the bridge leading there was partly taken apart, the railing on the side's support wooden blocks were taken and a new crafting table is on the island....
